I am historically a photoperiod grower and have 20+ years experience growing. I recently moved and have limited space and power so I started experimenting with Autoflowers. While its not quite the same, its still rewarding and I still get good smoke and concentrates from them. I have noticed though an extreme difference in the plant size and volumes from breeder to breeder and was wondering if its just me missing some things or is it common.
I started with 10 Speedrun seeds and was getting 8-10 oz dry flower per plant,
I ran 10 Fastbuds seeds and got 7-9 oz dry flower per plant
I ran 10 Mephisto seeds and got 1-2 oz dry flower per plant.
I used the Cronk nutrients Bonnie and Clyde autoflower line and roots organic Terp tea line for all of them.
They grow in the same tent with each other and have the same everything.
The Mephisto plants were by far the most resinous and stinky, but the volume is weak.
Does anyone have similar experience or any early stage advice for stubborn genetics?
