Should be about $20month to operate at $.10/KWH at 16 hours per day.

Thanks I will read that. I was just curious what a 3 by 3 light would cost me every month. I will probably buy a tent and a good light someday sooner or later.I run the lights over night when it’s cheaper.
Yeah for sure I could lower it but it doesn’t fit in the tent (4x4 tent coming from the wife for Christmas) so right now it’s hard hung on the top bars. I expected more stretch but didn’t get it and now I’m just not moving the light bc it’s such a hassle.
Ppfd is lower end of recommended flowering amount, can’t remember now and lights are off. If I had a DLI tool I think it would be good to slightly too much imo. It’s a lot of light for one plant. Last round I had 4 plants running in that 3x3.
Don’t want to hijack your thread. With living soil, don’t overthink it. You are working on the soil not the plant. Check out Build a soils YouTube page. Gotta lot of good info for you.
in veg I was running this light at 50% and a 100w at 75%. Since going to flower my electricity went up 25 bucks putting them to 12h and 100%. I run them both from 9:30pm to 9:30am utilizing the cheaper electricity rate. Still need to asses this month to see how much it went up but I’ve been going through a few cycles with these lights now. They are in a part of my house that was once rented so they have their own electric bill. I do work remotely 5 days a week down there, run a couple computers a few monitors, some led room lights and a gas heater with an electric fan blower. I switched to flower on nov 1st. I used 347kWh from nov 9th to dec 11th.Thanks I will read that. I was just curious what a 3 by 3 light would cost me every month. I will probably buy a tent and a good light someday sooner or later.
