This auto Apple Fritter was doing great until I defoliated almost every leaf unfortunately. Now I've realise the plant beneath canopy is no where near finished so I've flopped all colas on their side to expose this lower section.

Will this plant still mature?

These were sown first half of October 24.

That last picture looks like Lucy may have become Lola. Have you squeezed any of those to see if you can feel seeds?

Just chopped a cola up and no seeds or rot, just young and fluffy. Tent has only autos so... do autos tend to herm?

700-800umols sounds reasonable for late flower but yes the plant for some reason is fried. I can see signs of weirdness in the lower leaves, was it kind of a mutant or something from the start?

All kinds of theories from genetics to frying them! I don’t grow indoors, but if I did, I would probably harvest the brown part if the tri-combs say it’s ready and leave the unfinished part to finish! Maybe chop it right at the intersection of brown and green!

I was doing 24h light cycle for my small plants because I had a seedling in the same indoors that I couldnt afford to lose due to cold when the lights were off so I got a few yellow tips and edges and even a couple of rusty spots because of that but since it was in the first 2 nodes I didnt care much. Now theyre growing healthy under 18/6 but mine are photoperiodic feminized not auto. Still, more of a reason, auto plants cant take as many umols as regular feminized due to longer light cycles so if you have them at 20 hours or 24 hours of light that might explain too, now that I think about it some autos will definetely not like that many umols for that many hours.
You have another one in there that is not loving the light as you have it right now, I didnt circle all the yellow tips you can still see more but just so you get an idea.

And here are the major signs in the first one, when tips curl upwards like that... again, didnt circle all of them but you get an idea. For me is very clear is either the heat from the LEDs or the light intensity.

Leaf temperature being different from the indoors temperature can also fuck your VPD real fast.

Shit that's why my electric bill is so high! And why my newer plants aren't stretching, and instead just become bushes. I left some plants I had wrote off in the corner in the shade to die but they stretched out more than any plant I've had! (relatively inexperienced)

Wow. To think of the money I could have saved over the last 4 months!

Anyway. Your opinion was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!

Hahaha my pleassure! What nutes and feeding schedule are you using if any? I think I also see signs nute imbalance but it could be just that she cant uptake nutrients properly due to the condition she is in rather than having too much or too little of something. What kind of water do you use and do you check PH? Do you monitor temperature and humidity? Just wanna make sure its not only the light.

Hey,

So I had this grand idea of switching from synth to org and instantly felt off regarding my comfort with dosages and what the plants were saying. I then just fed them extras of my synth feed for fun but they stayed alive and kept growing. In fact, they're actually coming to quite a nice size for autos for the age. Still in veg of course.

I'm using Master Grow now, usually combined with a dose of my ogrganic feed Organicus (every heard of it?). Just started trying out Master Grows enzymes, sugar shot etc but mainly I reserve those for my new feminised babies. You know the ones I'm going to get right after all of the mistakes? I've ran 3-4 phases of autos within the last 4 months and each phase has taught me something new. I wanted to rapid fire the learning process.

Main take aways are, it's way too easy to over water in the beginning (once past seedling stage), advised PPFD is very subjective (less is more). Regarding feed slightly more is more. And regarding organic, I'll leave that for the vegans!

My temps are good (slightly lower), humidity is good (slightly higher) -- variants due to being in northern climate -- but it's manageable.

Genetics. I have grown from bag seed a lot and have had plants do that, but let it finish they still have great smoke. Look through your magnifying at the trichomes and harvest accordingly

Seems okay to me. So you were experimenting a little also which might explain other possibly non light related injuries 🤣 done that myself. I gave up on autos, theyre no fun. I still plant them from time to time because they have their place and time for me too, but experimenting with them sucks, regular feminized are way better for that.

Fuck... now I realize that I have 3 autos in a photoperiod tent, Im still doing it, I like the pain 🤣 I needed something fast that could cover the space of a plant that started growing all mutant on me so I transplated that one to a small pot and germintated a few autos... wish me luck! I will delay the 12-12 period as much as possible, I know the photos will still flower at 14 hours of light even if slower.
