I saw someone a couple weeks back make a comment about pheno hunting autos.I didnt even argue with the guy.it was pointless.Consistency in autos is very difficult.Ive grown quite a few different ones and have never found anything consistent.Nothing will ever compare to cloning the best plant of 10 seeds and running a screen of clones in DWC.You can dial in every plant exactly to the T.Doing that with autos is hard to do even if same breeder they are never all the same.Some not even close.
Breeding autos to consistency is like shuffling a deck of cards from order.Than trying to shuffle them back into order.I cant see it happening.popping 6 beans and expecting them to all run the same is just unrealistic.
I have the northern lights seeds im gonna run for the hell of it only because that plant was one of my favorite autos ive ever ran.

hahahahaha! Are you talking about the think different or the lsd-25. The think different definitely had a bunch of orange hairs especially notable in the macro shots. The lsd-25 is still going though she aint done yet!

The Seedsman site sells Think Different but normally they either show the yeild by sqare meter or plant but it just says 250-300g on this one

I will say this. The smell of the Think Different is AWESOME. It's very tropical and pungent. You'll be very happy with it. I'm gonna run it again no doubt about that. Trying to hit the numbers they speak of can only end in disappointment because they really just aren't realistic and far too many variables exist. It is possible though!

Ya man. There are just to many variables and with auto's the chances just seem to dwindle down even further hahaha. Seriously Kray Kray is a fine example of the wild card you can pull from an auto. Lmao it still has me shaking in my boots.

Pheno hunting auto seeds..... huh lmao. I really like the way you put that together. Well said. I've only grown 2 auto's so far but I've watched a bunch of auto grows and it's pretty evident how unpredictable they can be. That being said This LSD-25 is killing it in a solo cup hahaha. Got lucky with this one.

Yeah i saw a guy a while back popping a bunch of autos and trying to breed the ones he was popping into some magical pile of dragon dump.
In all reality the breeder has already given you there best genetics.If you pop 12 autos and reverse 12 of them and polinate your 2 best females together every one of the F1's will be a promising plant.Now unless you are BXing the original pollen into the same female which is impossible because you cant clone a female so you have to really know what your looking for in every plant.I truly think the only way to stabilize an auto is to BX females from every batch for about 5 generations than you would have something special.If i really loved autos i would have been working on taking a good strain like ghost train haze,cookie wreck,or any of top dawgs star dawgs and bxing a bad ass reversed auto female into a retarded potent photo until i stabilized my own auto.
People whine about using regs only but that has squat to do with.Feminized will get you there way faster cause you dont have to pheno hunt the proper male when you can take a super frosty female and cross her to another female the same.working with all females i think is easier cause you already know how there gonna flower.

Alright! TD is coming along nicely. She's got her second set of leaves coming in. I would have chopped her by now but I GUESS I'm going to leave her going a little longer just to see what happens:mad: Man how much longer do I have to wait this is crazy. Maybe like 2 weeks?:D

with the same phenos.....to keep the trials accurate

the problem was the fact that I started to get to high of N
so going by the elemental ppm of each
if I can keep all elements the same but cut out the N and C later in bloom
I can therefore run large flowers without N tox
this is my theory
I will be ordering these coco dry nutes
building a new Flower station
and then everything will go on a grow log

Havent done any autos yet but I think that will be what I set up for my Dad so he can have alittle fun grow without the responsibility. He doesnt have the green thumb

I don't have too much experience with different auto strains yet but I really enjoyed the smell and taste of dutch passions Think Different. The LSD-25 was from fast buds and also was pretty nice. I've heard good things about genofarms, royal queen seeds, and g13 labs autos but have not grown any from them yet.
