Light was 20” at 300W, soil ph stays around 6.7 and I’m hand watering them if that’s what you’re asking, sorry not sure what you mean by “how”How close is the light plus can't tell from the picture but some of those look kind of dried out how are you watering them and what's pH??
Ok, I’ve backed it off and turned the intensity down a bit, thank you!Yeah definitely way to much light. Back that thing off.
Can try light meter by my mobile tools dev
Set about 10-15k lis for thier size.
The leaves will not get better but new growth should be good
What I meant was it looks like you're watering just around the plants in a circle and probably should be watering the whole potLight was 20” at 300W, soil ph stays around 6.7 and I’m hand watering them if that’s what you’re asking, sorry not sure what you mean by “how”
100%What I meant was it looks like you're watering just around the plants in a circle and probably should be watering the whole pot
Ok, I’ll use a more traditional watering can that spreads the water more evenly. I was using sort of a pitcher for these that pours out as a stream. Thank you! What I meant was it looks like you're watering just around the plants in a circle and probably should be watering the whole pot
and you want runoff every few waterings, you want to get at least 25 or 30% runoff on a regular basis, that's how you get the salts out and keep it from becoming toxic in the root zoneOk, I’ll use a more traditional watering can that spreads the water more evenly. It really does because even if it isn’t what’s causing the canoeing, it seems I’ve been way too stingy with the water so you’ve saved me a future issue for sure! Thank you again!and you want runoff every few waterings, you want to get at least 25 or 30% runoff on a regular basis, that's how you get the salts out and keep it from becoming toxic in the root zone
It's not really about a watering can type, I use a pitcher that I also mix in, and I have one with a spout for technical wateringLOL! its more about using enough; remember roots don't grow into dry soil, hope this helps
remember: roots don't grow into dry soil
