Hello all! The leaves to the plant are drooping after first time giving nutes. I gave half strength nutes since this was the first time. I gave it ff grow big, big bloom and ca-mag per the soil feeding schedule. I have it in ffof soil. Lights on temp is 79 degrees Fahrenheit and rh is 75%. It’s an auto flower and I have it on 20/4 schedule. I have it in a grow bag as well. I last watered on 4/9 and soil has pretty much dried back. Just the slightest bit of moisture. I don’t even know if I would consider it moisture lol.

Looks overwatered to me, could be wrong though.

If stems are curved up round and the leafs are down, over watered, if the stems are down, underwatered.

Also could be witnessing "turgor", water pressure in the plant/hydraulics of the plant, as if it's sucking up water, if it was getting dry.

I’ll bump it down to 70% rh. I have been following the vpd chart and have been staying within the green range. How long would you recommend I wait to let it dry back before next watering? This next feed, I’m also going to go full strength with the nutes as going half strength didn’t seem to do anything(tips of leaves still yellow/brown).

I do t think you need more nutes, wait until it perks back up, then wait until it starts to slightly droop from being dry. Feel the bucket, that is about thr weight to water at. Brown tips are not deficiency usually a burn of light or nutes. What soil is it?

I have it in ffof and I have been doing clean water feeds(distilled and ph’d) since I planted seedling. It broke soil on 3/4. I’ve been raising the lights as it’s been growing as well. Always between 24-30 inches away from canopy. The leaves on the bottom have started to turn yellow as well.

phing distilled water with organics and ff is not needed.

ff has pH buffer, more harm than good possibly.

Oh man! I watered a little bit this morning and ph’d up to 6.4. Soil was very dry. No moisture(maybe the slightest?)on my finger and pot was very light and soil was separating from the walls. So next time just add nutes to distilled water and leave it be?

I recommend welcome to the grow tent on YouTube. Look up his recent video on watering. He is a Godsend to beginners, also how much/how often are you watering? Third question the aeration of your soil could be bad. Also do you have air flow in there? Just trying to think of why she is stressed

Since you only have one plant running water througha brita filter for example imo is better than distilled water. With 1 plant it's reasonable I think, I do it with a couple

I don’t have specific measurements of water unfortunately. I need to get on board with measuring it out and recording it. I’m watering between every 3-5 days. I need to get a soil moisture meter. I think I’m going to buy one soon. I have airflow. I have an aci t4 cloud line. Tent is 3x3x5. I have a passive intake setup. Also have an aci auto oscillating fan in there. I hope the aeration isn’t bad! I have it in a grow bag which to my understanding promotes proper airflow and better root health? Everything was going well until the last watering. No pests as far as I can tell either. Have yellow sticky traps in there and nothing is on them. I have sprayed the top soil with need as a preventative action just in case as well. Also have sprinkled cinnamon around the base of the saucer the grow bag sits in to prevent ants. Lights are between 24-30 inches at all times and on manufacturers recommended setting.

leaves that are burnt or damaged do not recover so don't chase that - always look for negative progression to stop and then to new growth if trying to correct and issue with nutes

what are your temps at night?

i live by fabric pots

is there anything separating the bottom of the fabric pot from the runoff container to allow airflow?

Alright noted! Thank you! My lights off temp is about 72-73 and lights on temp is 79-80. No I don’t have anything separating the pot from the runoff container. I need to get a little stand or grate to set it on top of.

In my opinion soil already has nutrition in it and you've given it more from no where I would work up 0.5 ml/l up to 1ml/l then 1.5 ml /l then 2ml then 3 so not to shock it cos that looks like straight shock possible over water too

Thank you! If it has been shocked from nutes. Is there a way I can bring it back?

i highly doubt its nute shock. i've given stupid amounts of the trio in ffof and just gotten burn and overfed symptoms.

on a plant that size when your water saturate the entire fabric pot. i use distilled or RO water myself as my well water is complete garbage.

FFOF has PH buffers, however if you've been using PH UP/DOWN there is a good possibility the soil isn't going to buffer as well so you might as well keep on doing that.

if you watered today after it was bone dry like that give it a good chunk of time 4-5 hours and check to see if they've perked up a little

Ok will do! I hope it perks back up! This is my first grow and I’ve gotten this far with it. Really hoping it’s not gonna wilt on me and die. I’ve done everything possible to prevent pests/mold/disease by keeping my environment as stable as possible.

Update, they haven’t perked up at all. Here is a picture from yesterday. It looks the exact same today. The leaves started looking ridgy like that as well. She still looks green and healthy so I don’t think I have a problem with pests or nutrients. I fed as you guys know. If it’s pests, I have neem. There’s nothing on my sticky traps either that are hanging in the air. I did see one ant on a leaf this morning and then check the plant very thoroughly along with the tent and soil and haven’t seen anymore. I sprinkled cinnamon around the base of the runoff saucer for prevention. I have a 3x3x5 tent. I have a passive air intake setup. I have an aci cloud line t4 and aci auto oscillating fan. My exhaust fan runs on 6 every 3 mins for 1 min at a time. I have the pot raised about and inch above the saucer because roots are growing out of the bottom(I know that’s normal). Idk what’s going on?? Im starting to worry it’s going to wilt and die. Maybe I have fungus gnat larvae in the soil?? I highly doubt it because the very first gnat I saw(weeks ago) I immediately sprayed neem on the top of the soil pretty heavy and then watered a little bit and then got sticky traps and haven’t seen anything since. I even sprayed about a week after that as a light foliar spray just to be on the safe side. Im reading 606 ppfd as well so I don’t think light is the issue. This is an auto and im currently on week 6 since it broke soil. Maybe I’m in early flower and need to increase the light intensity?? I’m just stumped at this point and can’t seem to pinpoint what’s going on?
