Hey guys so this is more for just info since I’ll be harvesting next week sometime. Im pretty sure it’s just a deficiency because I flushed like a fool last week. I thought I put it into lockout because I’m using fox farm liquid nutes and never flushed before flower like it recommended. I also have very hard water and thought I was 2 weeks from harvest. So all those combined made me want to flush. Now I think I’m going to have to go an extra week so I started a light feeding again last night. Now to the problem lol. When I got home from work today I checked on her and she’s very yellow now with the center finger having brown spots. It got a lot worse over night. I’m sure it’s from the flush and me only giving it a 1/3 dose of feed. But I just wanted to see if it could be anything else. I have a grow diary for this grow. It’s the bubba cheesecake. I would link it but don’t know how sry. Top pic is how it looked for a few weeks without much change bottom is what happened over night.

I just checked the thermostat and it did drop to 50 degrees over night which I don’t know why because I have it set to 64 on the controller. My plan is to just keep feeding it a lil every watering till sometime next week then harvest. If anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear them. I kind of think possibly that I know what happened. Lol but if anyone thinks they know for sure let me know so I can fix it next run. Thanks

Have you lowered your light intensity. helps with deficiencies and sometimes senescence .
I did. That’s the first thing I did when I saw it today. It’s kinda hard for me because I am maxed out on the pulleys so I can’t raise the lights anymore and one of them has no dimmer. So I lowered the intensity on the one but can’t do anything with the other. So I’m kinda stuck at this point. Lol I have about 10-15% amber at this point. So I’ll harvest if it gets too bad but I would really like to make it another week or even 2

You can remove the pullies and zip tie it.had to do that this grow. just keep it far enough away from the top of the tent that it dosnt melt it.will get you a few inches anyhow.

10-15% amber, you might want to harvest sooner..
can you take a close up of a bud

I think what you're seeing is calcium-caused lockout of phosphorus. Are the stems purple? Not the leaf stems, but the main stems?

Foxfarms does not list the ingredients of their products on their website, or they hide them pretty well if they do. If any of them include calcium or if you were using their cal/mag, stop using those products.

Just ride it out. You're close enough where most of what you're going to do isn't going to change the look or production of the plant much. Do what you're doing but I would just take it to harvest in a week or so depending on how you want your trichome profile to look like.

I can tomorrow. I actually just got a Wi-Fi microscope. I have to figure out how to use it first. But someone mentioned that I was probably looking at a leaf. And that’s very possible. Because there were some spots with almost all milky with clear and amber mixed in and some spots with a lot of amber. So I just did a rough average.

Some of my fan leave veins and stems are purple. It looks like the part closest to the branch is green and it’s not all of them either. Gotcha I don’t use cal mag just epsom salt for mag. I figured my well water had enough calcium. Thanks

I don't think he's looking at the buds..maybe the leaves?
You may be right. I’m really trying to limit how much I’m touching them and I usually only check like 3-4 buds every cpl days and I try to be quick. But I got a new microscope to try out so well know soon. Lol

I've been through lockout from Ca recently. They looked just like your plant. How much Ca does your water have?

Consider this for your next grow. Calcium will gradually build up in soil and flushing does not remove it. If all your grows end this way, you may need an RO filter. Ca lockout devastates yields.

I don’t know how much calcium is in it. And don’t know how to figure it out either. This is only my second grow and my first grow didn’t have any of these symptoms. But I’ll definitely try to figure it out and keep it in mind for next one. Thanks for the advice I appreciate it. I do have a filtered water system but I used my tap water last grow and it seemed fine so I wanted to keep as much the same as possible. Maybe I’ll switch to the filtered next one.

i have only used ff nutes pretty much and never flushed before flower - i think you're okay unless you've been making them buttchugg nutes
