Hello, I bought a used Phenom LED grow light. I have it on a timer plug but when it turns off you have to physically push the power button to get it to go back on. Any ideas or advice?

If you can get to the push button you could bypass it or replace it with a toggle switch. If you just bypass it the only way to turn it off will be with the timer or unplug it. A toggle switch will allow you to turn it off and on manually.

Have you tried the timer on any other device? I have a timer and when I reprogram it I have to cycle the on, off, and auto cycle a few times. What it will do is power off but not power on as you are describing. It’s a titan controls Apollo. I think the trick is going from off to auto instead of off, on, then auto.
This is the way! ^^^

I've encountered that problem with other devices. It's usually due to logic circuitry. I imagine rewiring could solve the problem, but I've never tried it.

Is there any chance the light can be operated by a PWM controller? AC Infinity controllers support it. They control the lights from the controller instead of the light itself. Check to see if there's a RJ-11 or RJ-12 plug on the light. (It looks like an old-style phone plug.) If so, that could be the solution.
