LED vs. HID Double Ended Bulb

Quick question--Would you go with (2) AC/DE 6" Phantom Reflectors & DE Phillips Green Bulbs with (2) M80 HF Electronic Ballast for a 5x9 Flower basement space or 2 LED lights for same space, assuming initial cost is not a factor, but instead total overall cost for running 1 calendar is compared.

Just wondering what an expert would do if they were buying today & weighing all factors of efficiency...

How high is the ceiling?
So an M80 is 250W. I'm not familiar with this area of HIDs but I'd go with LED, depending . . . Buy a pair of the newest, biggest Illumitex and please report back. :)

The ceiling is 8''. M80 is the type of high frequency electronic ballast to Max the DE Bulb capabilities. I'm either running 2 1000k or comparable LED for 5x9 flower room in a basement.
