cutting out the chafe cost me about 15 PRIMO mother plants, herbals, & $ gap.

so sweet?

my desktop took a shit... 5x ...each time i brought it back & thought it was stable i'd loose all my personal data, hours of work, and more.

hey... that's why a new)er laptop is keystoking ya'll this second.

gotta move my lab too... always fun.

Legion OG : week 4 (hitting 5)

definitely some danque-ness working in my lab.

just hit them with some fert 50/50 grow bloom, humic, kangaroots, and a touch of beastie blooms (foxfarm).

i have strains going all the time. i see the lifecycle at all stages all the time.

legion OG is a great all round plant.

week 3-4 already smells like sweet skunky yummy-ness , frostin , stacking (light packing) , and vigorous.

i've finally got insects something tough after growing since 1990.

occasional gnats, okay.
but this shit is ridiculous.

leaf miners & the fucking fly that produces them.

doing everything i can from gnatrol, blue & yellow traps, to days leaf wipes, removal, and more.

i'm thinking about getting some ladybugs.

broham & brogirls it sucks. and to peeps who say leaf miners ..."natures artist"... not.

they stress your plants and destory all lower foilage if left unchecked.

i'm not pleased with the way the plants look but i cant have bugs just getting a free ride in my lab. leafage was stripped.

dirt farming isnt my thing. hydro all the way.

all & all i will be working with legion for the next few months so this will be an expanding thread.

once i can fill a 4x2 we'll see what she can do.

stong smell of sweetness (candy) with just a hint of menthol.

it's only this last week that a more familiar "skunky reak" developed.

first photo is superb expanded.

the other two represent distinct phenos.

first one (of 3) done.

amber trichs. the "flesh" of this plant looks & is very blue green.

fucking nuts ink.

smell is def sweet candy with hints of menthol wraped in a light velvet skunk jacket with matching ascot.

this pheno (over the more MSS leaning) has nice hybrid type nugz that are dense and super sticky.

i'll be making a drop of this pheno on the ebb tables in three weeks.

significant amber at 8 weeks to the day.

nugz are dense & smell fabulous.

yeild with this pheno is average leaning toward cannasouir type ...with my soil skill anyway.

i want to run this pheno in limited numbers on the ebb tables to see whats what & compare notes on yield.

these legion flowers may not look like amber trichs are present but a quick hit with the scope shows 5%.

good enough for now.

i trimmed a lower & smoked some today ...& gave ink a personal assesment.

i smoke strains all day, and to get a good idea about an herbal, i like to enjoy a large sample over several days (to the head type thing) before i comment in general.

we have at least 20 to 30 days of dry time & then a few days of bong hits to wait for a proper smoke report.

smoked two bowls today... high as shit!

certified "uber dank".

in my headstash & for comparison : vortex , afghan kush , kaya47, jack herer, extrema , super skunk , sour d , great white shark (shanti cut) , romulan , chocolate kush, & blue dream.

taste is off the charts good ...w/ no cure too ...which is unusual in itself.

without a doubt, all these plants could go longer!

at 8 to 8.5 weeks, we have 5 to 7% amber... and i took them because i have to move the lab.

a good estimate for this strain is 8 to 10 weeks.

i still have one plant in flower which will go the full 10 weeks for good measure.

the cuts i popped in flower stretched like mad. each pheno doing its own thing. i cant keep them till the end but i got some good information from watching them stretch.

the mms leaning pheno = root & flip. though i selected & potted this for a mother, i changed my mind as cuts from this pheno have to much node spacing (i have them under 800w of light if you care to know). this will get vegged into a bush and flipped.

the control = a more perfect SOG plant than the above pheno. root , veg a sec , and flip. the norm for me. definitely gonna see how this one performs on the tables as the nugz are sick!

fast finisher = also good for the tables & my next drop & what i just smoked. im leaning toward saying root & flip. but i'll root and veg three days. this may be my keeper.
