it honestly depends on the state for example cali washington and colorado id say just keep it to yourself but Michigan and the others i have no idea.I live in a med state and plan on growing in the near future. I wanted to get some opinions and weight the pros and cons on whether or not to get certified. The plant count is pretty low(12) and the dried plant count even lower (2.5 oz) making it tough to stay in the lines. So weigh in...is it better to be on paper an potentially bring unwanted attention your way or stay low and keep your fingers crossed?
If your in a legal state, why not be legal? It's like being hammered at a bar and having a FREE taxi ride home, but choosing to drive yourself and getting caught dui.
My sentiments exactly. I don't spend all my time wearing a foil hat and surfing the web but I don't really trust the gov. The laws here are vague and don't cover all the areas ( like most mmj laws lol)Because it makes it easier for them to round us all up after they change their mind. Kind of like gun registration.
Unfortunately...nobody with any balls has challenged the changes to county/city laws that directly go against Amendment 20 and Amendment 64 here in CO. EVERY person 21 and over...resident or not...has the RIGHT to grow 6 plants. Without a doubt...the 12 plant caps/limits for PERSONAL medical/rec grows Co springs and other municipalities are imposing on growers are illegal. However, with all of the hammerheads in state these days...such things were bound to happen >somewhere<.
I'm not that familiar with MI laws....but public sentiment/acceptance of MEDICAL use is far greater than it is for just growing and appearing as if you are doing it for profit (no card, no visible need, no registration with the State). We have knuckleheads here who grow and SAY they are "medical" but they have no paperwork...and paid no fee to the state. It's like fishing or driving without a license....if you don't PAY to play....you're not playing safely and are taking a big risk, IMO> The ONE time the cops came to my house in CO in 2007 I had my cards and THAT is what caused the pigglie at the door to speak into the phone "It's a non-issue now, Sir...they have medical cards issued by the State".
If yer goin it without a card...you might as well fly HUGE.... stay under 99 and retain an attorney
Cpl ?I gave up my cpl for the right to grow. I still own and possess my firearms, I just can't carry
agreed go big or go home. If your gonna take the risk at least make it worthwhile while your rollin. It is very easy to grow larger grows you just have to do your due diligence and make sure you are secured. 1st bit of advice is tell no one. Loose lips sink ships. And when I say no one that includes wives, girlfriends, buddies, patients, customers etc. Never brag about what you have going and dont flash cash or large volumes of bud.Unfortunately...nobody with any balls has challenged the changes to county/city laws that directly go against Amendment 20 and Amendment 64 here in CO. Something I've considered but as far as state law is concerned I can have both. Its the federales I worry about. And my understanding is that I can't have both on me at the same time.I gave up my cpl for the right to grow. I still own and possess my firearms, I just can't carry
A cpl is a concealed carry permit for a firearm.Cpl ?
