So I had a white truffle plant in my grow room. She was the very last to come down. I’ve been real busy and had to do my plants day by day. The truffle sat with no water for about 5 days while I harvested my other 7 plants. When I went to harvest her she was very very limp. The buds had lost most of their firmness and were literally flopping over. The buds themselves were very flimsy and almost airy when just a week ago they were dense solid nugs. Also,, the plant smells weird. I didn’t see any signs of rot but the smell is off, almost hayish grassy kinda? Also kinda dusty smelling??? None of the other plants had this problem. Also I could tell the plant had no water in it but somehow the buds were still kind of damp? Any ideas? Does anyone think it’ll dry right and cure okay? Something tells me it’s just not gonna be good smoke and until I harvested I was thinking it was the best plant I had

I would’ve watered it, let it recover, and harvested it later!
Thought of this after the fact but 🤷🏽‍♀️ you live and you learn right? Lol. I had her under 48 hours of darkness so part of me was unsure how watering and putting lights back on would affect her. Def gonna keep an eye on it as it dries down and cures see if maybe the buds harden up and any of the smell returns. Somethings telling me tho it’s gonna end up tasting and smelling awful. Which is a let down, she was probably a 3 ounce plant!

Bummer! Self-inflicted wounds always hurt the worst! L O L! But you’re right live and learn! Take it easy😁
