I cheated a bit and picked up "teenage" clones. 6-7 weeks old from seed? (aprox 3 weeks in 3" pots, then 3.5 weeks in their 6" pots). Each one had been topped 3 times and were ready for larger pots. They were previously on a light cal/mag diet and 24 hour light cycle. At this time I hadn't hung my lights yet, so they stayed in the garage under my LED work lights.

Got the first SS LEC 315 hung hung, left it raised to the highest height for their first night under 24 hours of CMH lighting. The two shorter plants are the SLH at about 10" canopy height, the DS were around 14-15" tall already. Started reading up on LST.

During some point in my research on growing, I read it's okay to transplant when the plants are needing water. Hadn't watered them since I've had them and they were starting to show signs of needing it, so transplanted to 3 gallon GeoPots and watered with 1/2 strength nutrients using the "Early Veg" dosage, halved. Lowered the light to 24" above the canopy.

Rotated the plants under the light and just watched them for most of the day. Temp around 75-80 degrees and RH was holding 40-50%.

Looking great, thus far sir. Solar Organic Genetics Is a nursery then? Couldn't find anything on them in a google search, got a link to their stuff? Finding a dependable nursery can be a joke in Oregon.

Wanted to keep the canopy heights relatively the same, so started to focus my reading on LST methods and picked one. Went to Home Depot and grabbed Velcro Plant ties. Not going to lie, was a bit intimidated and or scared to ruin a plant. So fast how you gain a attachment lol.

The two SLH plants were the shorter of the 6, so the DS were only getting the LSTing.

When you can only read so many threads/websites and watch so many youtube videos, eventually you have to try it!

DST #1 (Temp got a bit cold the night before, I left my window open and it dropped the ambient temp some bit. They didn't skip a beat though.

It's one thing to read/watch about something but to see it happen first hand, amazing. 1st grow, first LST session and I'm a believer.

Had to actually take time away from my new girls, to spend time with my Girlfriend. Can you believe that?! lol. They were finally ready for water, so I decided to go into the next stage of the nutrient feeding. I went with the recommend dosage for Mid Veg. Nervous AF to nute burn, but at this point, I'm just guessing at their real age.

I think one of the SLH started to have it, but a few of the plants had some early nute burn from I'm guessing their cal/mag? May be able to see in earlier pictures.

This was shortly after their feeding/watering

Now we wait!

The second LEC 315 I plan to put in during the final week of veg, or could I toss it in right now in anticipation of flowering with the two?

Right now I'm just working on trying to have a successful first grow. So there isn't a rush into wanting to max out a yield or even start with a perpetual grow. (In the plans haha.) Should I let plants go for another 1.5 week? The canopy is about 12" and figured I may go to 24" then flip?

Again, any questions, comments, concerns or critiques, it's all welcomed.

Hello Hello,

Hope all is well with everyone. Life happens fast sometimes but all is good on my side. Just been super busy.

Apologize on leaving you guys hanging! Few updates with the grow/garden. Tend to be in the garden more and more so I'll be more consistent with the updates.

Ran into some deficiencies with the SLH's so ended up removing them from the garden to focus on one strain. Believe I figured out what they were but I just didn't have time, and soon to be enough room to get them back on track.

Set up my ventilation system:
6" Hyperfan for exhaust with Phresh 6x16" w/carbon filter.
6" Hyperfan for intake with 6x8" w/carbon filter
2 addition clip fans.

Added 2nd LEC 315 light
Transplanted into 5 gal GeoPots

Here were the four DS' the day I flipped to 12/12 (April 1st, not kidding. My Girlfriends birthday though)

I continued to LST and try to fill out the tent with the remaining 4 DS'

Does she look like a legit Death Star?
img_0974-1-jpg.690129

I'm feeding about every other day, still trying to dial in my temps for the lights off. Temp when lights off hasn't been below 60F but the difference has been greater than 10 degrees from lights on to off. They seem to be doing okay though.

When would you guys suggest adding support stakes. I foliar fed the other day and that made one branch hang fairly low until I got them back into the light. Plan is to defoliate on the day that marks 2 weeks.

Any suggestions, questions, comments, concerns. It's all welcomed. Grow On!
