I freeze the weed with most of the stems removed in a mason jar a little more broken up than that. when i ready i poor the frozen iso from the bottle and cover the weed in the jar about an 1/8 inch above the weed. I shake the hell out of it for 10 seconds & as quick as i can i cap the jar with a piece of a tea shirt and pour it threw a wire funnel into small bowl that fits my funnel. The amount you have i would pour that threw 2 doubled or tripled up coffee filters atop of mason jars secured with the outer ring. I poke these down as deep as i can in the jar. The filters tend to slow down to a crawl so don't over fill them. Make sure you have the top of the filter twisted & folded over to completely seal it. You don't want to let any alcohol escape from the top of the filter while you are milking the last of it out. GT 21s post has plenty of good info. I would hope to get a gram & a half or two from that others might get more.

yeah, ill freeze it now.. i just broke up that whole jar. ill try it with 15 grams first.. im going to go freeze this shit now.. along with a couple of bottles oif ISO.


now if this was SD drools!

i think i should give it water only, and let it continue to die from here on out, it could be that special 6 weeks job. hah.

still ugly! but healthy. its all good.

like this, right? take the bud out of the freezer, poor iso in 1/8" above weed, cap, shake like hell for 10 sec, take cap off and pour into pyrix correct? and yes, i would switch the cap to the filter/cap, like the picture.


i dunno if ill be able to do the cooking part.. i will get a portable soon.
but i can try, and we will see what happens.

I pour frozen iso over the center jar & use the tea shirt instead of the coffee filter in that wire strainer. You want to get the iso & weed separated as quick as possible.The two outside mason jars have doubled coffee filters,i pour the alcohol from the bowl threw these coffee filters into the two outside jars. I pour those jars into the pyrex for evaporation. This was one of the first ones that i did i left the buds a bit to large & ended up using a bit more iso than necesary.

yeah, cold and quick.. and low temp for good qwiso. since its so fucking warm here.. i even put a plate in the freezer for the frozen glass jar to sit on, that i will pour the iso/mix into the cold jar. cold and fast 10 seconds, poof.. simple enough.. and at 14 grams, i have enough ISO for 2 tries if i fuck up really bad.

the cooking part maybe hard for me because of standing.
but i can get the ISO mixture, and put it in the freezer until i think my leg is up to it.
put the pyrix on the stove, add water, put the smaller pyrix into it.. at 130-150
and 2- 2.5 hours to evap.

i want to flip this thing.. hurry up clone, and take already.

i did keep it cold tho :smoking:

Is there stuff in the bottom of the alcohol,if so filter again? the color looks good,if it's hot & breezy outside it might evaporate before dark

its clear, i have it on the stove right now. a real bitch trying to get the right temp. ill still probably have to fuck with it.
the junk you see is on the out side.. but yeah, i learn how not to do it this time.
i need two jars, strain weed, etc. one jar did not drain very fast but i kept it cold as hell. the frozen plate on top of a bag of frozen peas keep that shit cold yo!

i would be happy with a gram, my guess i ill get less, i grew crappy weed. it would be good for a sat night. timer is at 1 hour 46 mins. probably have to add more time after 2 hours.

@tifosi do i use a scraper at all to mix it up, or just leave it alone till its goo/ then razor blade.

a couple of hours & it should ready. One time it came back out the top of the coffee filter on me,it looked bad but worked. Next run you can run some of that hash,lose a bit but take it up a notch.

I don't stir it but i rock the pyrex back & forth trying to cover the whole bottom with the goo.

if i do not get a clone of this blue cookies in a few more days im gonna flip, and it will be a lost plant, if its really that good of smoke. its gonna be a tree ( with a even canopy tho )at the rate its going.

I'm trying to grow a full tent of weed first & the pollen chucking would come second.

year 2 in 4-5 month i think. but yeah close.. i dunno about learning fast.. but i am trying.

i do not think i have the temp right. its a hour and half into 2 hours and its not evap. what temp should the ISO be, or what temp should the water bath be, anyone know?

i have the ISO at 130F

i will keep letting it do its thing.. but i wanted to make sure im making some kind of progress. so i took a picture! in a hour, ill snap another photo.

maybe less ISO is needed? or do you have to cover it a 1/8" above the herb.

bowl up some hash!
