I buy the store brand hardwood about same price as kingsford...And add a stick of peach or apple wood..Funny I used to be a purest with no Kingsford and only used chimney's for the grill but seriously cant tell a difference in flavor when its all said and done so I take the easy way now. Kingsford and lighter fluid. You will never see me with anything propane though. Stay wood only in the smoker. Briskets and pork butts are usually on the 15-20 hr cycle.
