How in the heck are your girls so far into flower already??
My ladies just started throwing pistils about 8-9 days ago.

Mine was a huge fire( boot leg fire) 4 miles from my backyard. The smoke that is still here has pushed mine into early flower. About a month early for my elevation. How in the heck are your girls so far into flower already??

That looks like animal damage to me $0.02.View attachment 1156750
vaseline on stems to fight slugs works great! But as you can see, it kills the bark. So I might lose a blue dream, and a girl scout cookie. DO NOT USE VASELINE, on stems, in unless you wanna girdle your plants. Smh. This has been a public service announcement.
NICE!My girls doing great after the fire we had near me. My wife is 5'5" and no she isn't kneeling.
Lol.
Wow looking great over there, too hehehe!
Check for paw prints, looks like possible rabbit damage, or some other kind of furry guy. I dont think vasaline can do that it would take something corrosive to eat the bark off mature marijuana like that :(View attachment 1156750

Starting this thread to collect the knowledge of the unwanted.
I used to tell people to smear vaseline on their stalks to stop bugs from crawling up the stems. I did this in early veg and it made my stalk rubbery and my plants suffered. Never smear vaseline on the stalks unless its late flower, use double sided tape instead, It's stretchy and won't harm your plant.
I used to tell people to use top dressing or gnat gnix, imo it works exactly the opposite as it says. The top dressing holds in moisture, emiting an odor of rancid evaporating water that attracts the gnats.
Sand is the only top dressing I recommend at the time.
Please post anything that you messed up on or found out you were wrong about that could benefit other people.
Petroleum jelly is not good for plants, Aqua Jelly may be a better option but still I would let my plants breathe. There's a thread that I got the quote above from and that was from about 5yrs ago. We learn from our mistakes as well as from fellow gardeners mistakes.Check for paw prints, looks like possible rabbit damage, or some other kind of furry guy. It's weird how sometimes a plant will get a yellowing branch like that sometimes. The times it's happened to me, it didn't affect the plant particularly overall.Gelato dream View attachment 1157709

ya i can’t keep up feeding them, the gelato i had to dig out a hole in the clay and fill, changing my feeding plan to green gaia bloom this week. It's weird how sometimes a plant will get a yellowing branch like that sometimes. Ah no, have no powdery mildew. It's just a leaf starting to get ready to yellow out or is just dried up water as I took those a few minutes after watering haha. I'm thankful enough to have a super dry and hot climate especially this time of the year so mold is not an issue, until it starts raining and cooling down but that's if we get luckyI hope thats not powder mildew if it is cut it away it spreads very fast
I doubt it's feeding related at all. The times it has happened to me have been on completely well fed plants, and the nearby plants of the same strain (all grown from seed, so that's not totally controlled) didn't exhibit it with the same soil and fertilizer. I suspect that it's some kind of defect in the branch, and that area of the plant is starved because of the defect. Nitrogen is a mobile nutrient, and the plant would move N there if it could.. That implies some structural defect in the branch, and there isn't much to do. I don't react if the rest of the plant is healthy, which yours certainly looks like it is. The last plant that did this to me still was my largest yielder that year, over 3 lb dry and trimmed.ya i can’t keep up feeding them, the gelato i had to dig out a hole in the clay and fill, changing my feeding plan to green gaia bloom this week.
I’m having same issues with my branches, now that my girls are 7’ tall. I definitely learned my lesson about needing to add 8’ high, worth of fencing around plants, so when they get big, they’ll have support. I see everyone who grows monsters does this. Your’s are looking good!Just checking in. Once again I am going to have some problems supporting these tall branches. Happy growing to all View attachment 1158683
