im sorry lol, im genuinely not trying to be a dick or argue, this is just genuinely useful info that will remove guesswork for some growers and i feel obliged to share it.

This is the closest large town on my line of latitude, and its current dawn dusk cycle.
Daylight hours

Even if your dont count twighlight time, (not a lot, im at pretty high elevation here) im still at like 14 hrs daylight. But theres a bit more my plants can see then that, im at high elevation surrounded by lower land. I put plants out in early may a ways before preflower, and they all had preflowers by the end of may, but they had been outside long enough that their hormone systems were already aware daylight hours were getting longer so they never flowered. I had fully developed, fully formed calyxes in early june, but never any reveg because they never left veg, and my plants, even my sativas, are all nicely going into flower already, and are probably going to all finish besides my columbian dominant giant pheno by early october, some in september for sure. Even my sativa doms. But they at no point in their entire life were presented with any confusion at in appropriate times, because i didnt have to make any guesswork about it.

I didnt actually expect to have plants sliding into flower pretty much immediately upon hours shortening, let alone have sativa doms already producing trichomes and budlets before august even started.,and no signs of reveg, but i did, and it does make sense with my experiences so far lol.

YMMV

What works for some doesn't always work for all. When it becomes something many people agree works, it starts to become a proven method. The great thing about thc farmer, we give our personal methods, and our peers decide if they want to use this method, or try something different. Your way prolly isn't his way. And that's OK. We share what works for us, and if you want to use method, cool. But if not, ALSO cool!

I’m pretty much in the same window as you. Don’t stress, everything will start flowering and you are on your way. We got first tropical system headed our way. Lucky it’s now not when you got giant buds. It’s not a race, look out the window and enjoy the ride!
Good point re: the storm. Where I am I worry almost as much about the wind as I do the rain. I'm about a mile from the Ocean and on a hill. It can really start whipping with a coastal storm.

Looks like you’ve got half of yours, supported to a certain extent! This will be a good test to see how it does! Good luck y’all back there!

this is the best kind of point you can make around things like that. I just leave info behind, maybe its resonate with someone and make their life easier, and if it doesn't, well that's just fine too lmao.

There are as many ways to grow a healthy plant as there are ways to grow an unhealthy plant lol.

Just heard weather report for the weekend, 6 -8 inches of rain. Sounds like the title of a porn movie, not the weather.
Here in tennessee we've done this a couple times already this year now. Last week we had a single day with 4 inches lol. Had a friend literally get trapped at Dollywood for like 7 hours because it was unsafe to cross the flooded bridge to the parking lot.
Very glad im right outside the path of that storm. Im finally gonna have a Dry week for once.

Hell yeah! Take advantage of that free light! I grew the Blueberry muffin last year! For some reason it finished way early! And the bugs seemed real fond of it! But it came out OK!

@Oldchucky I checked it today looks like it's just started stretching looked like pistols are starting. On Humboldt site they say indoor 45 days and outdoor between Sept 15th and Oct 10th. I would be happy with that .
