im sorry lol, im genuinely not trying to be a dick or argue, this is just genuinely useful info that will remove guesswork for some growers and i feel obliged to share it.
This is the closest large town on my line of latitude, and its current dawn dusk cycle.
Even if your dont count twighlight time, (not a lot, im at pretty high elevation here) im still at like 14 hrs daylight. But theres a bit more my plants can see then that, im at high elevation surrounded by lower land. I put plants out in early may a ways before preflower, and they all had preflowers by the end of may, but they had been outside long enough that their hormone systems were already aware daylight hours were getting longer so they never flowered. I had fully developed, fully formed calyxes in early june, but never any reveg because they never left veg, and my plants, even my sativas, are all nicely going into flower already, and are probably going to all finish besides my columbian dominant giant pheno by early october, some in september for sure. Even my sativa doms. But they at no point in their entire life were presented with any confusion at in appropriate times, because i didnt have to make any guesswork about it.
I didnt actually expect to have plants sliding into flower pretty much immediately upon hours shortening, let alone have sativa doms already producing trichomes and budlets before august even started.,and no signs of reveg, but i did, and it does make sense with my experiences so far lol.
YMMV
