And watch out for those nutrias, God, dammit! L O L! Take it easy my neighbor for the north! Also, you ought to consider picking up some triploid seeds for next year! Try a couple! I think they are impressive! But we still got a month or two to go!

Triploids are created by treating a diploid with some kind of colshine shit, which alters their DNA and creates a tetraploid! Four sets of chromosomes! Then they cross it with a diploid and wind up with a triploid! How they can call a GMO is kind of beyond me! But I am impressed with the plants! If you think you have a triploid, you better clone it! Because triploid seeds are not cheap, yet! L O L!
Or a byproduct of extensive inbreeding according to breeders I've talked to about it. So you're saying a triploid is impossible naturally? You will never get a naturally occurring triploid, that is. Just trying to understand this.

No, nothing is impossible! I’ve just seen too many odd plant call triploids! I’ve had three leaf plants and never even considered triploidism! That Colchine stuff is some kind of natural thing derived from plants, I think! Maybe that’s why they get away with calling it non-GMO! They don’t physically remove or add a chroma zone! But triploids are a relatively new thing! It would stand to reason that, in the last 20 years oddball plants would have been proven to be triploids! No, nothing is impossible! But grow A few! You will like them! They are unmistakable compared to the regular stuff! There is a possibility! The odds are like one in 200! I would’ve thought they would’ve been worse! But my triploids are unmistakably, buffed and vigorous! Then maybe half could be Mail! Just thinking out loud brother!

Looking like it's gonna be a rough harvest season for many.

I got another week of perfect then looking like it's gonna get pretty rough up here in the mountains too. When the forecast looks like this, they're usually not super wrong about all the rain thats comin. And once it starts doing this in the fall up here, it usually just kinda keeps coming until thanksgiving lol.

Geesh. It's 111 degrees today where I'm at. Then by the end of next week it will be mid 80's for the near future.

Thanks for that Chuck. I'm going to look into this more. Rabbit hole here I come.....

Oh and one last thing. The other seed I sprouted was normal. That's what leads me to believe its a naturally occurring oddity.

Ok I'm off! Tha Mad Hatter says my tea is getting cold.....

Yeah between the flashlight, a higher potency of Bt every 5 days, and my wife helping me pillar hunt once a week. There's been very little damage. Gotta get em through the home stretch. But so far so good. Definitely winning the battle for now. 😎😎

It’s a dirty job, but someone has to do it! L O L! Hang in there, brother!
Heya Chucky awhile back one of your post had mentioned something like I haven’t seen so many tri leafed plants or was it tripods? I had posted some pics of my sativas around that time so on a closer looki surer than shit they have 3 bladed leaves. I knew it wasn’t from reveg and kinda blew it off as a Sativa thing cuz this is my first attempt at growing them outdoors. So rather than rabbit hole it I just Attributed to stress from leaf septoria and thought to myself keep them fed don’t panic a do what cpur suggested pull the infected leaves off so I slowly started taking the off and all is good then when I got to the top of one of them low and behold it had grown some 5 bladed leaves so I’m not sure about the other 2 plants but if it stops raining I’ll be sure to check the upper leaves. Thanks again for your posts buddy always learning patience grasshopper!!

No, it was three. Lobed leaves! I was just saying I thought it was from all of these people putting their plants outside in April, and screwing with their internal clocks! In my opinion, if you wait till June 1, you don’t see all of that crap! But that’s just my opinion and that and two bucks will get you a cup of coffee! Triploidism Is a Chromasomal thang! Tear it down Buddy! And from the few, I’ve screwed up, the leaves do return to normal just before flowering starts a lot of times!😍 I may be off base, but I think there are different degrees of reveging! Some full-blown and some just barely enough to kind of wonk The plant out for a month or two! I practice, Hi-life Plant, philosophy and gardening! L O L! Is the old-school way! People have been doing it since 1903!

I’ve only messed up with one plant when I first started growing outdoors I told my old biker buddy about it he was pretty loud about it for sure. I’ve never glitched since. He was hard core growing for many years and got me started indoors

Hello friend. You are a welcome site in the garden this morning.

I could use one of those nets for this girl. I checked a couple places and they weren't even familiar with them.

-Message to the rain goddess'. Enough rain you can close the tap here, thanks! πŸ˜…

August 16th puts them at 3 weeks.

It's unmistakable when they sprout. Unless there is something about non triploids that makes them sprout 3 leaves also. If that's actually possible I'd love to read some info about it. πŸ‘

This is the youngest pic I have of it. This was after I topped it.

It looks to me exactly like "blueberry freakishness", at a time it was common among blueberry strains, 15 or so years ago. I can't speak for now. Breeders usually try to stabilize breeds to stop stuff like that from occurring and it may be a thing of the past.
