This was right after 48 hours darkness. She is hanging up to dry now. Indoor soild grown BD autoflower. Flowered super early but she finished strong Sweet Berry gas on the nose for now.

Do you always go to 48hrs dark?

Yes, sometimes longer if my schedule sucks that week. I would like to do a comparison some day. One with 48+hrs of darkness and one without and possibly see if there is a difference. I have read that the dark period is when the plant produces more tricomes so leaving it in 48 hrs darkness makes it go into overdrive and do one final push for defense against the light that usually comes.

This is my first time doing it, I used the brush method but I’m going to do q tip next breeding run. Yea breeding has always been on my to do list, just never got around to it until and I couldn’t be more excited and happy. I stored some pollen for a future project. When do you pollenate your female ? at what week did you put your pollen on ?

It really depends on the length of flower and strain. I usually shoot for right before halftime in flower. About 4 days before the middle. And usually I go for a lower of one of the main colas. (Gets most energy to fully develop the seed). If you use lower buds the seeds shell is fragile, and it won't develop properly, so you end up with a bunch of empties. This is the result I have from back crossing nerd creamer (blue nerdz x sherbet cream pie bx2.) at least that's what I call it
