@Grow4me is that a Bradford pear tree or a fruiting one I see hanging over in a pic?
I have one Fruit pear tree left,a storm blew my other completely over. It had a disease though, trunk was rotten.

The wife started some bulbs in some old soil I had..guess it was from one of my seed runs lmao..the flowers are Acidanthera Murielae. ..and some unknown cross of mine lol View attachment 603525
Same here I threw some used soil into a wheelbarrow and got mixed in with my vegetable garden soil. And look what popped up volunteers! And that's some chewed up Kale on the left. Crazy things happen when you go out town for 10 days

those look great..
I guess while I was gone ,we got rain too.
I come home to find everything in full bloom and tall as shit (grass).
It's pretty though..

I knew too well the fight with weeds and grass. Still raining ever afternoon and I need to get in the yard. Should be a good weekend for yard work.

There's not a teenage boy down the street is there?
No ,it's probably a field mouse or something .
That sucks,I'm sorry for your melon. Hopefully you can keep your others away from them..
