I have three tents. Two are 3x3 and one is 2.5x2.5. I run 600 watt LEDs to great effect. Not sure why you would need that much power in such a small space.

In that space you will have a much easier time and better yields growing one larger plant. Four sqft is really tight for multiple plants, you would have to flower right away. Your spider farmer only puts out 100w so I do agree you need another light. I would shoot for a second +100w from spider farmer or hlg or replace the spider with a 200w light and you will be in good shape for watts per sqft.

Right now I have a Spider Farmer 1000 for my 2x2 tent. I want to be able to grow 2 to 3 plants in the tent. If I upgrade to a Mars hydro 2000, will that be sufficient enough for my space?
When we choose light, we will consider the growing area first. For your 2x2 tent, the TS2000 is totally enough, even more. TSW2000 actual power is 300w, the PPFED is 910 (in 18inches), the coverage is 3'x3' at bloom and 4'x4' at veg.
