I recently had a light leak in my tent and believe my plant herm'd, but this is my first time dealing with this.. it looks like its ready to come down anyway, so I guess my question is has it pollinated? Is it good to smoke if it made it to amber trichomes?

The calyx clusters are swollen like they are seeded but there's a couple other signs there's seeds in them to watch for... If it's been pollinated, earlier on the pistil tips will prematurely turn orange, and the calyxes Wil turn a little brown like they got lightly toasted. In the current appearance it's too far along to tell by the pistils, they've already retreated and it might be too soon after pollination occurred for the toasting to have happened. The lighter color in them coming in would be something to watch. What you might wind up with is immature white hermed seeds that won't be suitable to use as S1's and make you choke on that seed taste when you take a hit. One way to tell is to just pluck one of those foxtailed clusters and dig through it to see what you find.

You'll want to take a magnified look to see if the trichomes are ready.

It’s still good herb to smoke : ) looks great! 🤩

I don't see any nanners, the caylxes are swollen, to check to see if it was pollinated pinch one of those swollen caylxes, if if has something hard in it or "pops" with a little liquid, then it was pollinated. It will be fine to smoke regardless. Let it run it's course and ripen.

Definitely looks like a seed.

Pollen from a nanner or male species.

Either way it looks like it will finish well.

Yup pick a calyx at the bottom side of a bud and give it a pinch, good way to check without disturbing the bud site too much. That's also where you'll find them looking toasty if there's seeds.

Definitely could be more buried.

Had a grow a while back with a nanner involved.

To date I have found about 15 in about 1/2p that I have smoked.

Hard to say. When pollen is produced the count is in the millions maybe billions so it will depend how badly it spread and how ready the plant was to be pollinated by itself. The only bummer about smoking it is if it does amount to immature herm seeds they're not easy to dig out so every once in a while you might wind up getting a nasty hit. That's what makes it a better candidate for BHO or RSO if that's what you got. Doesn't amount to a total loss.
