That is correct. Its a big light. That doesn't make it bad. There's value to running that board at less than 100% and it gives you options you otherwise would not have.Ok diffintely gonna back it down a bit, big light for a 4x4
So if I'm following what you're saying correctly, you're watering approximately twice a week. One watering with feed, the next with water? That's the same rotation my wife and I use with our plants. I wouldn't feed them more nutes. Just make the adjustments with N-P-K as your progress through flower.I had a feeding question I might rephrase, if I feed twice a week should I be giving them about 1000 ppm both feeds or go 500 ppm on both feeds to equal 100ppm for the week?
Probably stupid question but I’ve over fed last grow and underfed my first grow lol
So I fed the shit out of them this week then. We’ll see how they respond, I’ll get some pics tomorrow. I watered twice this week at 1000 ppm both timesSo if I'm following what you're saying correctly, you're watering approximately twice a week. One watering with feed, the next with water? Any chance you can post a few side pictures of those plants? The tops look great so far.

Yeah I got them open, better with light at 65% only pushing 80 degrees at 50-60 rh, can lower rh if I wantSee those view ports with dark mesh at the bottom of your tent? Open them during lights on hours and if needed set up a fan in front to push fresh air in. This will bring your humidity down so you might have to adjust by running the humidifier too. But if you are experiencing any light stress and your plants are happy, this will allow you to keep lighting set to what the plants are used to at the same time it should cool down the temperature inside the tent.

Yeah I switched way to early.. I was afraid they were gonna outstretch light. Gonna top next grow maybe. How long did you veg? How many watts total? Don't take this in a bad way I feel like you can improve alot. We'll work on it.
Ahhh new grower and new parent sounds very difficult. We live and we learn!Yeah I switched way to early.. I was afraid they were gonna outstretch light. Gonna top next grow maybe.
I vegged probably 4-5 weeks, probably running 500 watts
I’m a new grower got two boys under 2 1/2 so it’s hard to dedicate the time sometimes lol I do appreciate the advice and help!
It looks nicer than it is, I don’t think I fed enough and not enough light. Dull flavor for sour diesel.Ahhh new grower and new parent sounds very difficult. We live and we learn!
I find dry amendments to be muuuuuuch easier. Here's the method I use. So freakin easy. https://www.thcfarmer.com/threads/growing-with-gaia-green-shadeds-method.140538/
But looking at your older pictures it looks like you've had a really good harvest in april no?
I mean dull flavor is most likely genetics unlesss well..I've heard organic brings out more terpenes so this run with clones will show the truth to me.It looks nicer than it is, I don’t think I fed enough and not enough light. Dull flavor for sour diesel.
other than letting them veg longer this grow has gone much better, temp/rh controller saved my life

As soon as I brought rh up to 65% the temp came down around 80, I’m comfortable with that
Running in that configuration will also not stress out the LED's and will prolong the life of the light fixture. Exactly the plan that I want to execute in my own tent. Two overpowered lights running at 50%.That is correct. Its a big light. That doesn't make it bad. There's value to running that board at less than 100% and it gives you options you otherwise would not have.
In my other tent. It's an over-sized 4 x 8. I have two Grower's Choice ROI-E720's in it. Using the lighting master controller, those lights will put off 800 watts each. I'm in full flower in that tent, running those lights at 60%.
It's good to have that extra power even if you don't always need to use it.
That makes sense, I didn’t have much airflow during drying, in a basement… probably where dull flavor came from.I'd be more inclined to think you lost some of the flavor in the dry and cure.
Way too much emphasis gets placed on feed and lighting. It's not that they aren't important because they are. What frequently happens is people over-do those things. I'm not saying you're doing that because your plants really do look well cared for ... but it can happen if you keep pushing "more feed/more light."
Temperatures below 70F ... 65F is what I shoot for drying temp. I also try to keep the humidity range at about 60%. There's a lot to pay attention to in drying and curing. That makes sense, I didn’t have much airflow during drying, in a basement… probably where dull flavor came from.
So I had temp and humidity to the T but I didn’t have air circulation.. should I have my exhaust on still?Dry and cure is the one area I see newbs screw it up the most.
