anyone play around with different light intensities, stressed out my plants in veg with too much light(1000gavita with supplemental 630w cmh), when it the best time to hit them with full light in flower?

Nobody can answer that for you. Too many variables such as nutes, co2 level, temperature, color spectrum and strain. You might never be able to run at 85K. You must read the plants and do what they need. Its best to have the light a bit high and let he plant grow into it. If they get too close raise the light.
