Light spreaders on adjustawings

Ok so I have a question about light spreaders on adjust a wings, do they work are they worth it? I have a client who is wanting to use them but I'm not sure if he is wasting money or not.

I say don't bother. I have the adjust a wings, and the spreader. The hot spots that you want to address are on the extreme right and left. That isn't what that spreader diffuses. It is for directly under the bulb. The only thing that you can do is to go way high with them.

yea, don't bother, I found that it just dimmed the the light overall a bit, and left the corners hot. I love the wings, but the spreaders not so much.
