Googling and stumbled upon this gem. How accurate is this thing?

I'm currently using 1/2 of what they recommend with great results. Sounds like a little over-kill to me ---- better get the CO2 ready. Remember, they make their money selling u lights so they are over selling...

Im not buying the lights from them. I just finished my first room using this as my calculator. Will my plants be hurt by too much light if it is overkill??

2x4ft 400watts right now. upgrading soon to a 4x4w//1000 watts. Is that overkill??
