Little trees this year in the northeast

My outdoor grow this year is smaller than last year. Height is about 7.5-8 feet. Last year I had 9.5 foot tall ladies. Weather wasn’t on our side this year. Thankfully wind hasn’t gotten them. These are crazy train and sour cherry diesel pictured. Hoping to get a decent harvest anyways. Super sticky flowers.

How early do you start your plants in the year. Do you start them in February.
