Little White Larvae looking Caterpiller ???

Hello guys. I am doing indoor hydro using 6" grodan cubes. Today I was doing my normal feeding and I noticed a clear larvae thing crawling on top of the grodan. I take a closer look and it looked like a very little caterpillar. Would anyone know what kind of pest I'm dealing with? I wish I took a picture but I just immediately just squished it. Thanks.

better put a pic of a critter on for ID, i had scarab beetle larvae once and itb was too little to later, lil pests destroyed all my cuts in coco i got from a friend in what seemed to be 1 day!

Dela you hit it right on the spot thanks man. I googled fungus gnat larva and its exactly those little things.

Dela is spot on, if you use mosquito dunk in your res. put them in pantyhose. This keeps them from getting in your pumps.
