Good morning!
So I am on my first grow and things are going great. I am using coco coir mixed with worm castings (roughly 25%) coco/perlite 70/30, added Gaia green 4-4-4 and Gaia green 2-8-4 50/50 ratio pre amended. This is supppsed to slow release the nutrients for 4-5 weeks until I begin to top amend. So I’m coming up on the middle of week 4/5. I know with this method of organics that I am using I do not want runoff as it will push out my dry nutrients. I’m in 5 gallon fabric pots. Currently on day 4 without watering as this holds water quite long. I normally wait until half of the weight is gone before I water again.
My question is, how much do I water these to not have run off? Is there a better way to water to decrease run off? What do I do? Thanks
Previous water in week 3 I watered with about 8-12 cups of water and I will get maybe a cup or two of runoff. Any tips greatly appreciated.
