This may have been posted before but I was reading this and thought it could benefit anyone looking into organic gardening and compost teas. I'm finding it to be interesting especially since I started brewing teas and success has varied as I tweak my recipe. I suppose a microscope could help me figure things better as per the brew manual:

I bought her manual a couple of years ago, and there is indeed some good info in there. I do not agree however that you can send a compost tea sample via mail to SFI and get it tested with accurate results. After about 6 hours the microbes start to die. I have seen this in my scope. They must have some voodoo magic that no one knows about to be able to test samples that took 24-36 hours to reach them. :)
