Those are prices shopping at Home Depot too, if you go to a co-op you can likely get that to less than a dollar a kg. I don't think it gets much cheaper than that although the startup costs are the same, you just get a whole lot more.

There are definitely benefits to the Gaia Green though, makes it easier to get help.

I made calculators in excel for all these which I'm happy to share but it's complex and numbers focused so it's definitely not for everyone.

Gaia Green broke my wallet dudes. Build a soil is the same way. A 3 lb bag of craft blend will only get through one grow cycle in a 2x4 tent. $22 for one Grow cycle and I've had a bottle of synthetic nutrients for over a year I paid 15 bucks for lol.

I also have bulk bags of stuff like azomite and gypsum 30 lb and up, it may be more expensive up front but I think in the long run buying your own amendments and mixing your own blend will be cheaper than something like I gaia or bas.

Yeah haha I've been growing this cross since December, LMFAO the move really messed everything up.

I could have selected a few plants, vegged them, and flowered them in decent size pots but I figured 16 flowering clones would be the fastest way to get weed.

Hopefully they'll still do decent but I know I'm seriously limiting this cross' potential. I think I have two more seeds I'll grow in the future

Yeah i had mildew twice in a row so i get it on being behind lol. You could always take a snip during flower off the best one and save the pheno for a good 5 gallon run.

You should get a pretty decent haul off 16 solos, especially with how vigorous theyve been.

Yeah it sucks for sure lol. Sucks on the mildew hopefully that stays behind ya.

And yeah I'm super curious how these will yield. Even at a quarter a plant I'm looking at about 4 ounces in 9 or so weeks. (Hoping for much more but I figure thats a safe goal)

Not long after that I'll be harvesting the grandpas stash, GMO, and then PNG Kash later down the road so hopefully I wont be behind anymore

And yeah the grandpas stash is supposed to be a "monster yielder" so that's part of the reason I chose it this round. That and Im after some funky terps. Between them and the GMO I got from trustfall I should be set. I want to keep the GMO around I may be re vegging a stump

And I feel you haha. now that I see how easy and fun getting cuts is, I'd probably be blowing a good portion of my return on trust cuts if I weren't completely out of plant room

I would be so packed with clones but my wife says no everytime i ask about getting one. She always says "thats too much money for a damn plant Jared, just grow from f***ing seed." And i get her point but its so worth it when you can have endless clones from that 1 purchase. Ive been saving 20 dollars a month towards grabbing 6 cuts and just not saying a word to the wife lmao. Its gonna bite me in the ass in the end, but oh well life goes on, right?

4x4 coming tomorrow switched net over in preparation.

For those who followed the Hades Throne grow, I'm not letting my buds and lights play tag again lol.

When I flip to flower, for the first week and half or so I will bend anything under the net that tries to reach through.

After said week and a half, I'll let them finish stretching freely and hopefully get an even canopy spaced where I want between net and light. Nets roughly 18" under the light so hoping for the buds to stretch 6-8" over the net and stay 10-12" under the light.

We'll see, I'll be potting the funk bunch up and flipping them to flower later this week grandpa's Stash & GMO yo
