I think about this every time I prune my plants. Does anyone have experience in pruning where all the grow shoots you cut off, the fan leaf at its base is left there? Maybe by leaving the fan leaf, it might not cause so much stress, or maybe it can help another grow shoot with its bud! Example: all but 8 grow shoots are cut, in the past month 10 grow shoots have been cut, but the fan leaves are left alone, maybe since their grow shoot is gone, they will start to help the nearest shoot? It’d be really cool if they did! Anyone have knowledge of this?
