need to store my crop for 5 months or so. they are in mason jars now but i was thinking vacuum bagging would be better. vacuum bag and fridge?

not true at all..I’ve switched from mason jars to Mylar bags for long term storage. The Mylar bags seem to keep the buds fresher than the jars.
Few jars in here have been over a year and just keep getting better, like a fine wine:)c’mon people how in the world is any kind of bag better than a jar?

geezus since all this has been legalized, sooo much unnecessary products,
spend spend spend on all junk you don’t need..
I attended a seminar by Grove Bags and they claim that their bags don't collect trichomes and are made to seal better than glass jars.. But I'd have to see it to believe it. Oh and they also claimed they don't require Boveda packs. Pretty bold statements if you ask me. I've also seen a lot of reports from people saying they lost a lot of humidity using Grove bags. So I'm on the fence on that issue. Maybe there are bags that do seal better than glass jars, but in my opinion the sturdiness of a jar will lead to less breakage/shake in the end...c’mon people how in the world is any kind of bag better than a jar?

It was a part of CannaCon 22. They held several seminars over the weekend and one was a seminar about packaging and marketing your products - about 5 minutes into it I could already tell Grove Bags was behind it as they were pushing all of their products. Then I saw the same guy that gave the seminar behind their booth on the convention floor and it all made sensegrove bag seminar??? WTF?

Thank you, but I know my results. I kept the mason jars in the dark in cardboard boxes with lids. I kept some of our 2016 harvest for 4 years in mason jars.not true at all..
if anything any kinda bag storage can damage trichomes much easier..
as long as the jar stays below 70 degrees and in the dark, there’s nothing better for protection..
whatever storage you use needs to be air tight..
what size and what's a good price and how much for shipping to CO? Just curious. Could always use some more jars here lolI have 300 mason jars I am willing to let go at a good price.

Ok? I'm sorry if I missed something, but are you really selling them or just being facetious? I don't mind the extra work, everything on my farm is done by hand, anyway. My Mylar bagged cannabis is then stored in the same cardboard boxes in the same area and seems as fresh as when we bagged it last season.
I don’t mind if your results differ, but to say my comment is not true at all is very low brow.
I have 300 mason jars I am willing to let go at a good price.
