Geometry shots

Peaceblaster 2 and 3. Several f1 gens later, i still see more GG4 in these plant's geometry then any other plant from their lineage. Especially PB 2

2

3

PB 1. I love the way this plant grows. Big fan.

Mystery Sativa. Has a very haze look to her. I suspect this may have been a seed created from wild hemp pollen.

Biggs. (def an oddball pheno)

And the fasciated branch on OJ x BB 3. Because it's crazy looking.

Besides the one fasciated branch, the oj x BB arent particularly pretty or interesting looking, and they are all a bit smaller then my other plants. Although, that may have something to do with the 30 years of inbreeding vs multi-generational F1. #1 is a wimp. It's sensitive to everything and flinches easily. #3 is weird but has that cool branch. #2 grows a lot like PB 2 but doesn't branch out as willingly and its a lot smaller lol. If any of that big bud lingers on though, im gonna be eating my words hard come flower

We have a cracked shell and a white embyo on the swollen Maui '86 seed Hard to tell in my zoomed in $40 android photo, but it's there! The stoke is very real. 2/3 of the others have swollen as well as of today.

And The 2 banner 2's have discovered what up is

Finally found some perlite locally

There was half an old 3 cuft bag in the gardening shack at the country club i work at, and no one there currently even knows what it's for so they let me take it.

Woot. Those 2 poor banners. Im sure its pretty obvious how non ideal their soil is lol.

1 part peat. 1 part cheap-ass potting soil with all the bark and twigs screened out. 1 part perlite. (prob more like 1.5 parts perlite)

It's beautiful innit? No not really. Pretty sad this is the best i can do locally, no?

Ill prob throw a couple big handfull of compost in with it too. I think i slightly overdid the perlite in the pure unadulterated joy i experienced in actually being able to obtain some locally.

I have exactly enough perlite to mix 3 batches of soil this size

Prob gonna make the transition to video updates. As they take up significantly less thread real estate when you have 14 plants going.

My plants are shaded from about 330-6 pm. Hottest part of the summer days here. Decided to grab a video right before they lit all the way back up. This phone over-exposes real easy.

The peaceblaster F1s are strong with the hybrid vigor. Outpacing a suspected wil hemp hybrid currently.

Edit: Man, upload really killed the quality. Video Looks great on my phone and when copied to my laptop. Looks terrible after upload lol. Maybe i wont be transitioning to video updates after all.

i cant keep nice phones. I inadvertently destroy cell phones fairly frequently, at least 3 a year.

Not even 2 weeks ago i lost one out of my shirt pocket into an active front loading bobcat cement mixer. Heard it grind up immediately. Considering there was about $250 worth of cement in the mixer, it still got poured as if nothing happened at all. Oh well

My old cell phone is now permanently part of an in-ground pool's concrete deck surround at a country club for wealthy Rednecks.

I'm gonna make a no value wager/bet.

Peaceblaster #4.... My bet is that she will, even as small as she is now, finish as my tallest plant if she stays untopped. I bet she'll do 6-7 foot no problem still. She's tripled in size in like 5 days flat. So has that mexi-skunk plant.

Gotta love that F1 vigor.

The 2 first Banner 2's have almost finished standing up 24 hours later.

I've been seriously spoiled by all these F1's and oldschool sativas Still very excited about these future of these. Just planted the other two. I got this hunch my mom is going to absolutely love the Banner 2. They are already making me miss DWC though, tbh.

Still no root tip on the one cracked Maui. Just remoistened and added another drop of h202

Might as well show how a total cheapskate like yours truly does seedling humidity domes.

I leave 1/3 to half the zipper unsealed. I take it off once the seed shell has fallen off the seedling.

It's not 81 in here, it's like 74 lol. That thing hasn't been right since i got it.

And i guess this little cup of magical powder i bought means i have to finally break down and buy a tent and some equipment

Had my ride home from work stop at the home depot so i could grab some peat pellets so i could be a lazy clone daddy.

Well, i was in a rush and didnt look at what i bought. Now i just have overpriced compressed coco

Burpee coco is actually what drove me away from coco growing, tbh lmao.

Not gonna lie, i felt like i started later then i should have here. And originally i wasnt going to do much amending or feeding. Decided to cart some loam up to take to moms for her raised bed, and it was so easily dug i just kept going and gave a bunch to these plants too. Little bit of goat poo and compost too. Hell i even stunted my plants for a week as seedlings because my dumbass left em out in the 40s in the rain at a week old in a compost mix with no perlite.

Planned on using some flora micro to keep expected micronutrient deficiencies at bay. Expected 3-5 foot bushes by fall.

My plants are going to be as big before they even flower, as i was initially expecting them to finish if growth keeps up the way it is. The soil i amended its obviously a lot better then i thought too. The little ones are growing much faster then expected as well.

I am 100% aware my plants are planted too close together, theres just nothing i can do about it now but handle the issues as they come Crest of a hill at nearly 3500 ft elevation open to the west and south though. They get a lot of fairly constant airflow. Even in that hot stagnant part of the afternoon, the airs still moving around a bit over there usually. The super thick hedge line seems to create a temp differential, and thus extra air movement.

Good problems to have though considering my initial context lmao. Ive grown around here before but it was down in the valley region. There's a pretty solid gain going up the mountainsides it seems. No wonder all those old heads grew up the slopes of the mountains and stayed out of the valley lol, and no wonder Steve Earle wrote a song about it.

I think i could live with seeing that out at my plot. Still some beautiful plants. But yea, total jungle lmao. The 8 big ones are kinda in two groups of 4 though. not in even rows or a grid. I wanted to break the silhouette of something intentionally cultivated when seen from a distance. Old geurilla trick. Space nohing visible evenly. Break the patterns right and you literally have to stumble right on top of them before most would even recognize theyre face to face with cannabis plants.

thought my Jack x Big Buds would be the biggest, but theyre more like what i was expecting size wize tbh. Id bet theyll finish about 4-5 foot bushes. with plenty of room for me to squeeze around em. I spaced them larger then my peaceblasters by a little bit. Also not thinking that the only PB's ive done outside were fairly small clones put out in late may/early june. Of course these seed girls are gonna get a lot bigger. They're F1's

it'll be hard for me to get to PB 2 in a couple months. i suspect the mystery sativa to be a hybrid with wild hemp honestly, and it is going to get really big too. I'm probably going to start pruning that one back until it decides to flower. to keep more space to access PB 2. Im thinking ill break down the good sized branch on PB 1 into clones that is facing PB 2. That will probably save me a significant amount of space come fall. Prob an entire smaller plants worth. PB1's a creeper pheno she'll be fine with it.

I really want to be able to access PB 2. She's a very beautiful plant. Probably the nicest to look at out there. She glows from a distance. I want her to have everything she can to thrive, even if it means mauling a couple near by. Ill have clones anyway. Gotta treat for mildews and stuff. keep her clean on the inside. I don't even want to cut a clone of PB 2 she's such a pretty plant. Im going to, but i dont want to

The maui seed that swelled and cracked still hasn't spit a root tip. No signs of rot or funky smells though. Will give em a few more days and if no root tip ill probably go ahead and plant the cracked one and start the waiting game.

I planted the one cracked Maui last night. Glad i did, as of this morning the remaining 3 that didnt swell have started growing some kind of white mycelium on them that is tolerant of h202. They're definitely dead beans. All4 banner 2 popped no problem. Slow to take off, but popped and look healthy

Fingers crossed on the cracked Maui
