Hey everyone. Jason here. Been growing for years, just never got around to posting anywhere outside of Twitter / X.
Bit of background: I owned and ran a hydro shop for a while, so I spent a lot of hours on the counter side diagnosing rooms people described to me over the phone, plus running my own. Nothing exotic, mostly tents and LED. I'm a stickler about environment because that's where I've watched the most grows fall apart.
I've also got two cannabis related projects going. GrowTrackr is a free desktop grow journal for home growers — feeds, readings, harvests, photos, and the data stays on your own machine instead of somebody's server. That last part was the whole reason I built it. PhenoTrade is a reputation-based platform for breeders and collectors to trade genetics, seeds only, no THC products. Both came out of wanting them for my own grows and not finding anything that provided the level of security and safety that I wanted.
I'm not here to sell anybody anything. I just figured I'd say what I'm working on up front rather than have it come out sideways three months from now. Mostly I'm here to talk shop and learn from people who run things differently than I do.
Right now I'm deep in getting my winter grow planned out and set up. Happy to be here.
