I meant no offense to albert. Read what I wrote I stated no offense is intended to ANYONE.

Mainly trying to get through the point about over watering and how to optimize things.

To be fair,
You can treat the problems after it occours and if it happens. (gnats)

for you, (or anyone with continual gnat problems)

IT does make sense to get a jump start because gnatrol or dunks takes about 2 weeks to take action.

Especially if gnat are a ongoing problem, then I would use gnatrol or dunk every grow as preventative. Shit I have done that myself.

Do I have the problem anymore? NO
DO I use random coco I do not know or have used before. fuck no
Empire has a known problem with bugs.

The fact is that may not be an ongoing problem for others with different brand coco. I used to have gnat problems but no longer.

SO just trying to provide more information to use your own judgement. Not trying to inflict my ides on anyone. Just put it out there and you do what you want.

I add cal mag only when it shows signs of needing it and don't use rhizo to much now and like to use Nitrozime Marine algae instead .
