Does any one have any thoughts on which purple stain i should order?
1st off its will be a greenhouse soil grow & and plants will be monsters, veg for 2 months then flowered in 45 gal smart pots. I need the yield to be there its a factor and i was hoping to find a pheno or correct strain that bangs out with real purp nugs like in the bag it looks purp after its all manicured.

Only research ive done so far leads me to like TGA's Qurkle,or but not sure on it yield should be ok tho, and finally hoping to have the plant being more indica dominant.

Thanks for checking this out any suggestions will be great, and if you got a strain your working with now pic would be f$#kin clutch.

Thanks, Peace

Potassium permanganate gives an awesome, and thusly perfect, purple stain.

I lost my purple strain, a cross a friend made last year. Mendo Purps x Grape Krush. Off the hook, lock your ass to the couch strain (not for me, tasted great, don't like that kind of high). Went purple very early on, no cold needed at all.

Querkle rarely ends up purple. Bit of an old school Mexi taste that turns some folks off, too. Not me. It's in the pipe right now, actually. But as for what I've seen perform, KC Brains' Mind Bender. Almost brick red. Outdoor monster plant & powerful head change.
Also seen a dark purple pheno from THSeeds' Burmese Kush that's incredible smoke and not temperature dependent to pop that gorgeous purple. Their Mendo Purps is dead on classic, too. No matter what you order, just keep in mind that you won't be getting the temperature swing that "forces" the color (phenotype=genetics+environment) to express itself. Lucky for you purple is a dominant genetic and fairly easy to breed for because the males will express it as well. Just don't expect color to be flavor.

Go to canna ventures forum on this site, and check out his purple berry bx.

I wouldnt grow any purple strains in a greenhouse, I had querkle and GDP outside one year all mold. You may find mold resistant strains that turn purple but they wont be purp, if that makes sence. LOL Look for purple#1 crosses or strains that are listed as turning purple with cold weather, Just avoid strains that are crossed with GDP, erkle, they get too dense.

Check out ace or cannabiogen Purple Pakistan Chitrali. If you are interested in growing this strain let me know, shoot me a pm. Its great meds for relieving pain, and I got great comfort for my lower back pain.
Very uplifting buzz.

Blackwater from Cali Connection is the best purple I have found. Its has the power of the OG kush.

I have honestly yet to see anyone with a Blackwater that looks ANYTHING like they advertise for.

The second strain, after the old school Purple Kush(which was usaully only 1/2 purple), that came to my mind was Blueberry. I've only smoked it a couple times many long years ago. It was FULLY lavender colored, and tasted like blueberry muffins. Sooooooo good!!!! Nectar Of The Gods type, amazingly accurate and intense fruity flavor. Like Mango or Juicy Fruit, which are also equally intense and pure representations of their namesakes(if you've smoked those). My favorite purple just for that reason too. The strain I grow currently, being 50% Blueberry, has some purple nuances. Just in the main stems and leaf stems. I've never experimented with any techniques or methods to try and encourage that though, so maybe it's capable of more. Could be...

I'm a fruity bud specialist, that's my role in the grand scheme of things I've decided. It all started with one of my all-time favorites. Which turned out to be the NL#5 X Hawaiian that was my first indoor crop way back when. It tasted like pineapple-banana to me. Opinions varied on it though, general concensus being "very tropical fruity and sweet".

I came across another today while discussing black strains in another thread.

The Black

Genetics: 90% Indica / 10% Sativa
Flowering Time: Indoors: 7-8 weeks / Outdoors: Early October

The Black is an incredible indica not for the light-of-heart, thats dates back to the late 1980`s in California and on Vancouver Island. This medication is guaranteed to sooth and produce, with crystal coated fan leaves that turn from dark purple to black during flowering. With an instantaneous high and a soothing narcotic nature, The Black makes for a very beneficial night time herb.

been pondering this myself decided to try purple lady by de sjamaan.afghani/hindu kush/us purple kush. couldn't find any grow/smoke reports on it but its pedigree certinly looks good.should be a killer purple pheno or 2 swimming around in that gene pool ,just hope i find it lol.

I popped his seeds and did not get one single purple pheno. Maybe just bad luck for me but like his cuts.

I'm really impressed with bubba x urkle outside- big, fast, purple and reeks of grapes.

purple ponic
turned purple before cold
early harvest and good weight. haven't tried it in the greenhouse yet though. have to wait till spring to know for sure
