So I've had this same problem in the past but wayyyy worse and don't want it again because it burnsaway trichomes! But. Looks like some very minor leaf burn from lights being too close, BUT they're hanging at like 18 inches for 11-12 hours on at 100%....its a 250w viparspectra p2500....anyone else think I should turn the light down? My DLI is only like 37 or 38, and PAR is like 8 or 900.

Thoughts?

I see minor tip burn, a led light on 100% is very powerful. Mines never sees 100% anymore, I use a vipraspectre also

I've never run my ViparSpectra XS2000 lights at 100% without burning leaves. I'm just finishing flowering for one plant and the light is at 56% at about 20 inches from the light. These lights are indeed very powerful.

Thanks guys!

They look much happier now that I turned it down to like 60%

30 inches above canopy 65% for veg.
30 inches above canopy 75% mid to late flower.

You the one on here asking why your cooking your plants man.

720par for flower seems kinda low but who knows maybe its perfect :D
ive always heard from people online that you want around 900 par or 1000 par for flower.
the par at the center of my canopy was 1300 recently and members said that i might have burned the tips of my leaves with the light or nutrient burn who knows heres a pic of what my tips look like
im just crossing my fingers and hoping its not a fungus :(

Alright imzz is right here. Dli, par all that is subjective to strain. Going by a par map is the wrong approach. Your plants will tell you everything. I have a veg room that I run the older vipar p series in. For veg at all times it’s maxed at 45% at 3 ft. You just have to approach everything manufactures put out as a set of guidelines. Not set in stone science. Not all plants are created equal. Not all plants want a cookie cutter guide with nutes either. There are tells for everything.
