Having to negotiate the purchase with the kid ...🤣🤣 She has the Amazon account . LoL going for it! They are on sale for 17.84 and can be here Saturday 🤞!
I used to try and negotiate with my old man! Once he started unbuckling his belt, the negotiations were over! That didn’t take long usually!😆🍻

That hot box you are growing them in seems to run about 20° hotter than the ambient air temperature! Obviously you’re not doing yourself any favors growing them in there! If possible, I would try to get out of there and grow them somewhere else! And possibly that thermometer might be picking up heat from the table top and giving you kind of a skewed reading! You’re usually gonna get a more accurate reading when it’s in the shade!

I pretty much just use it to keep an eye on things remotely... Like when it gets over 100 I usually kick the fan on higher and check on them . Give them some shade time till it drops . Makes me not forget them so much 🤣 went to an appointment this morning left it in the ☀️

I just checked a few temps! Tampa, Tallahassee. Seems like they’re in the high 80s! That’s a big difference! Looks like you will top out it around 94° or thereabouts! At least the humidity is kind of working with you in the 45% range! Could be a lot worse in that respect!

Yeah it been super dry! Not normal had not one drop of rain entire month of April. Got a sprinkle on May 3rd. Started to get a few forest fires before that. 100 acres burned bad nearby

Isn’t that BS? Before Septoria!😁
Beginners luck is no joke. Sad but I think my grows have gotten progressively worse every year.

Reminds me when the neighbor grew potatoes. First year was fantastic, second a little less, by the third year the potato bugs were so bad he gave up. And when the deer reached over his rabbit fencing to nibble his tomato plant, he threw in the towel. LOL

I am there !! 🤣 Asking my self already, am I up for this ....nope 🤞

Getting there. Pots are filled up , some dirt left for top dressing , should be just enough to fill to rims.

I let it settle over night to dry out some , to balance wetness . The dirt was really really wet in the second bag. So I mixed as well as I could with the drier dirt in the other 2 bags.

Got some "bowls" ($7 bucks 🤑) from the flea market to use as "sliders", so I can scoot the pots around better. Since I will be battling heavy rains eventually 🌀
