Lucky Dog is Good stuff.

It's basically Pro Mix + Microbes/Fungi's + EWC + other stuff to balance pH.

Pro Mix and Sunshine Mix mediums are very similar, just don't have the amendments that Lucky Dog has.

Thanks swell...I've got 3 AmHazeFem seeds that I'm starting as soon as I harvest my 1st grow. I used a ffof and fflw blend for this one...pretty good results but I would like something more porous that will allow for much quicker drainage and heavier feeding...Lucky Dog might be the answer. Might even mix some growstone soil aerator with it and cultivate them in the super roots air pots. I never thought choosing a medium could be such a brain scratcher lol. will definitely post pics

Choosing a medium can certainly be quite the decision with so many products on the market, and confusing marketing for some of the products. When choosing a medium it's helpful to know a few things about how you like to grow such as: how frequent you'd like to water, how strong the soil is (how much fertilizer it has in it), and whether you want to apply liquid fertilizer frequently or just plain water an amended soil mix.

Lucky Dog has significantly less perlite than Light Warrior, so adding something to increase aeration such as chunky perlite might be what you're wanting.

When using Lucky Dog, you'll definitely need to supplement with fertilizer since it doesn't have strong of amendments (like Ocean Forest.) Unlike Ocean Forest, Lucky Dog does have beneficial microbes that colonize the root zone and provide a slew of benefits. If memory serves me correctly Lucky Dog has 14 types of mycorrhizal fungi, and 5 types of beneficial bacteria.

Awesome stuff...thanks for the insight... I'm set on lucky dog with the growstone soil aerator. I love the biology in the K9 cube... Plan on keeping them on a nice healthy diet of vermiworm compost tea as well as the liquid nutes. My hydro guy told me to keep it simple with the nutes and pay more attention to the chemistry...so that's what I intend to do. Leaning towards GO nutes have heard a ton of great things! Thanks again swell.

Something is going on with that plant.

Have you been following the dosages for your liquid nutrients?

What soil is it currently in?

Yes...that pic was taken about 2 weeks ago...I'm pretty sure there was some nute buildup I checked my runoff it was 1600 ppm in late veg. I have since flushed her and got the ppm down to 900 about a week into flower and she is perky and the new foliage is looking beautiful. That mixture is Humboldt earth with ffof top soil.
