I got lucky this year. I went out to inspect my plants this evening and I came upon a whole bunch of ladybugs settled into my plants. I haven’t had a whole lot of bug damage because I’ve been using lost coast plant therapy, but ladybugs are always a a welcome sight, especially when they are surprise visitors. I feel lucky they chose my garden.

Gotta love it when you find them! One day I found that a couple praying mantis had taken up residence in the plants. Nearly no bug damage that year!

Nice! Gotta love nature. I had tobacco hornworms on my tomatoes one year but the parasitic wasps took care of them for me. Just hope the lady bugs stick around. I think instructions when you buy them are to release them around this time of year and they’ll settle in and stay awhile.
