since nobody replies to my grow diary i am going to ask here.

I just changed to 2x600w HPS and am about to go into flower.

the light upgrade is huge for the plants but i am keeping the lights at a good distance the first few days so i do not shock the plants to much.

but today i noticed a few leaves turning lighter in color.

check out the first image. is that normal?

do the plants look healthy?

and, would you guys put them into flowering now like i plan to ?

all input appreciated

:-)

I always wait until I see healthy growth before I flip. Think of it like riding a wave, when they start to show healthy growth under the new light...flip em.

They look good. When u flip depends on space available...I'd give em at least a few more days

They look pretty good in the pic.. But u would know how good there growing.. It's better 2 flower they when 100% healthy & hitting on all cylinders.. I would flower them in a week..

E.T. is 100% right.

You want to look for green, healthy growth that is positive and obvious say for a week. At that point they have more of a foundation and are on a good roll already going into flower. You got it.

Have you tried the custom white level setting on your camera? Makes for more accurate pictures.

thank you all for the input.

I take advice so i will be waiting for 1 week before 12/12 (thats 5 more days)

@ThricomeFan, i will try that setting next time i take pics. Hadnt even heard of it before.

One more thing, my roots are starting to show slight brownish color in parts of the root system, not all of them at all.

i am feeding them GHE nutes according to their schedule and nothing more. (i have ordered cannazym, still waiting for it)

is that ok? my temps are good. got a fan controller, active intake/exhaust etc.

regards
