Grape Ape done at 59 days from flip

25 plants on this run, small plants no scrog but some bending and topping. The SD that I bent yielded twice as much as the ones I topped and the buds were a little more developed. Grape Ape yielded twice as much as SD, looks killer, smells killer, but still doesn't compare in flavor or high to the SD. Small plants did not yield much but nugs were solid, mature and sticky. SFV from HHC turned out to be pretty legit and bomb as hell. Think I will run some again in soil before I decide to drop anything, Lemon OG from HHC did not seem to be anything special but Recon pheno 1 is killer (LA conf x cantelope haze x la conf I believe). Sour grape from Blue sky Oaksterdam smelt killer but lacked on the tastes like it smells category. Next run will be soil SD, SFV, ROG, Grape Ape and I've got some seedlings to sex (grass Knuckles, ROG, TOG, 4 way fuel etc.)

I will list these by strain, buds are dry so weight is dry but all photos are before dry. Will post dry shots soon. Nugs are curing in Turkey Bags.

Congrats on the harvest M.S.T.! :harvest: Great job on the buds and very nice info on each strain... Just curious if you can tell me a little bit about your feeding regiment and max ppm's this round. Did you use RO and CalMag? Also, do you flush periodically or just the week before harvest? :wondering

I use tap water, therefore no need for additional Cal/Mag. I fill a 20 gal. res that floods my tray 4 times during the day cycle for 5 min. a time. This fills tray then drains through pump in about another 5 min.
I use House & Garden Aqua flakes and all their additives except foliar spray. I follow their nute schedule for 8 week flower starting at 50% then increasing at 5th week to 75%. When I say 50% I mean calculating for a 10 gal res. but using a 20. and so on. Their schedule increases each week as well so my ppm's start around 550 and finish around 1100. I change the res. every 7 days adding fresh nutes, halfway through the week I top off w/ about 5-10 gal of fresh water then ph. With the use of House and Garden drip clean, they claim you can get away with a 3 day flush. I still try to flush for at least a week. Usually at the end of 4th week I flush w/ plain water for a few floods when I do my change.
This round I tried some hygrozyme second week w the H&G nutes and it slimed up heavy like snot. My recomendation is to be very careful going outside the box when using H&G nutes and introducing new products to your feeding schedule. Because of this it really threw my PH off and I went back to plain water for a week. This put me a week off schedule, so I blew off the top shooter this time and I usually add 1/4 pack of shooting powder per res change last 2 weeks before flush, this time I just did last week before flush. This round was stressed a little with little to no veg time and the slime really set me back which I believe caused them to finish slightly quicker. I let them in the dark for 24 hrs before harvest and by the end because I couldn't do it all in one night some were in dark for 72 hrs with good ventilation. I believe they got much stickier and stankier.


Now for the Sour Diesel, there was 20 plants of it so I might not get em all out at once.

That's just the beginning, what about 5-20. They are all cut from the same group of plants, but 15-20 sat in the dark the longest, and I think take the prize for dankness.

That is the million dollar question, I got it from a good friend who got it from a good friend who new how to spot a winner when he came across one, but I can only track it that far. I can only compare it to others I have smoked, and peoples discriptions of Sour Diesel. It is similar to HB707 but not so much OG in there a heavy on the Mass Super Skunk side. I am not familiar w/ aj's cut, this has always been presented to me as just Sour Diesel, I have smoked alot of variations and I like this one alot. It is def a legit Sour Diesel, very Chemdog and MSS. Sooo tasty.

Even with that setback caused by the hygrozyme your harvested buds look great! I even had to log onto the laptop to see all the eye candy... :mmm

BTW, that's really great news about H&G... sounds like you must have great tap water too. So did you not use airstones as recommeded by H&G?

Good to know... I was perplexed that Texas Kid was able to use H&G in his first UC setup... Also their labels always say to not use an airstone, but it clearly doesn't seem to cause any issues... I'm def gonna use some Roots Excelurator in hydro next round.
