mag def and cal-mag plus

I have what looks like mag def. People keep telling me to use more cal-mag plus, but I have read that its cal that can cause lock-out, and mag def...Is this true?
I am planning on flushing. My girls are in veg, and I was going to make the switch to 12/12. Should I keep them in veg, and flush or move them to the flowering room, keep the lights out, and flush..or any other options.
Also would a 3 day flush work? longer?

give us a pic... i would say hold off on flowering till the problem is taking a turn for the good to much mag isnt good to much of any nute isnt good ... could be insect or over feeding need more details to answer fully

If you have what appears to be a magnesium deficiency and you've been feeding at lower levels, pH and all are within ranges, then I would suggest giving a foliar feed of Epsom salt @ 1/4tsp/gallon, neutral range of pH, and be sure to include something like stylet or a few drops of dish soap, something that ensures spreading and penetration.
