This is basically what I'm shooting for. LEDsupply didn't send enough nuts or bolts to screw them all in place

. Was going to contact them but it would be quicker to just run out and buy more.

Crees still haven't arrived and I'm impatient. If I want to I can switch out chips later.

Man this thing is bright! Not getting hot at all either. Heat sink is still cool to the touch after running for an hour now. Might be able to add a few more diodes!

Latest build. 3 citizen clu048 1212 chips driven at 1050ma by a dimmable inventronics driver. Using 3 active heatsinks powered in line by some smaLL 12v drivers. Pulling 140w from the wall.

Glad you posted in this thread. Just noticed I used those shit connectors on that last cob light. I'll have to switch those out.

On the first light in this thread. I decided since the COBs grow so well I'd phase it out, having never used it alone. I took it and threw it in with my t5 in my veg tent and actually over drived the chips since prolonging them wasn't an issue and damn plants love the thing! It's getting a lil warm but plants are definitely responding positively.
