i Am Jealous... that is beautifulmy plants dictate my actions this was my first grow ever tropicana cherry clone relentless genetics 182g
ty sirmany varieties and always a winner in my experience
I’ve had shop owners tell me they’ve never smoked organic weed before, he had just opened not too long prior, went in to see what he had organic,, when I ran Frostette the first time it was pure organic input for anything I used, went home and grabbed some and smoked a bud with him, he said he figured all organic weed would be airy, low THC content etc etc, anyways we smoke and got ripped, dude diddnt expect me to bring in a half oz rock hard cola that reeked of grapecould be a very good move. seems that from my experience sampling many strains from many dispenseries this could end up being like the field of craft brewers out there. seems like their are plenty of customers for them. could be there would be ample customers for a craft cannabis field as well.... : )( : : )( :
reeked of grape....... damn, i was privaleged enough about 20 years ago to smoke a strain that had such a strong grape taste that i have been searching for anything similar ever since but to this point no success.I’ve had shop owners tell me they’ve never smoked organic weed before, he had just opened not too long prior, went in to see what he had organic,, when I ran Frostette the first time it was pure organic input for anything I used, went home and grabbed some and smoked a bud with him, he said he figured all organic weed would be airy, low THC content etc etc, anyways we smoke and got ripped, dude diddnt expect me to bring in a half oz rock hard cola that reeked of grape
He liked it so much he asked me to write down any amendments I use, went in 2 weeks later he had all of it on the shelves. I Should have bought his used air cooled HPS hoods when he still had them for sale![]()
I’ve been in the commercial sector of cannabis on the producer/processor side for a few years. Biggest advice is leaning towards state regulation and being financially stable and secure before jumping into it. Your best bet is gaining knowledge about all aspect’s especially running a business. Good luckSo I want to be able to grow weed for a living. I’m currently in college for a biology degree and have been growing on the side. I’m trying to learn everything I possibly can. I’m wondering if anyone has any ideas or knowledge on how I can make money (legally of course) from growing. Honestly if I can make enough to live I’ll be happy. My only goal is to enjoy what I do. I know my first step is to move to a legal state but then where do I go from there? Any help or advice or steps to take would be really nice. I’m getting my biology degree regardless of growing that way I can still find something i enjoy if growing doesn’t work out.
Believe it or not you don't always have to start at trimming. I got a job offer to move from my legal state, to a med only state w/no growing laws, yikes at that part, to become a cloning specialist.. i was near the end of flowering a monstercrop/revegged set of plants, (from first grow) we talked a lot about different growing methods and cannabis in general. They were impressed I jumped right into more advanced techniques. However, I am too ill to even travel lol let alone take care of plants on that scale and just settled my special needs family into a good area with good schools.... so that was a solid no.I’d totally be on board with that I could start trimming and work my way up or whatever it may be.
Was an awesome pheno of Frostette, I got lucky, but was dumb diddnt save a clone, pop more and search again right!reeked of grape....... damn, i was privaleged enough about 20 years ago to smoke a strain that had such a strong grape taste that i have been searching for anything similar ever since but to this point no success.

Words of wisdom my friend thank you.Believe it or not you don't always have to start at trimming. They said that there is a lack of passion in the industry. Also given what some family that was in the industry was doing to be successful..lots of traveling, showcasing their products to other industry companies though meetings and things of that nature. They were in fact making dough, and I know it's possible for homegrowers to dip their toes into this too at some capacity.
as somebody who has always had alternative jobs I recommend putting together a goal/plan and just going for it. The worst you can get is a no. Then you go back to the drawing board. Just, don't give up on things that matter to you like this.
i think i actually tried some columbian gold at some point, in washington state years ago. i've tried so many strains it's impossible to remember them all. the columbian gold was GREEN. i really hate when they take something and decide they can change it while calling it the same thing. got some red hash....... It Was GREEN. i've been around long enough to have tried real red hash..... IT WAS NOT GREEN, IT WAS RED!i'd like to see a dispensary that focuses on persistantly cultivating the same heirloom, really old school strains. mauie wowee, acapulco gold, columbian gold, panama red ..... etc. ad infinitum. many of these strains i've never had the pleasure to try except for 1..... i got some mauie wowee in a washington state disp. turned out it tasted the exact way a strain i grew 30 years ago tasted. grew seed from the usual dirt weed, comerc. mex and such at the time. grew some outrages sh+t out of those seeds. a mind blowing experience..... : D
