Making the switch after ten years.

After ten years of pain management program I have decided to grow my own medication because of my previous experience with cannabis as a young man. I'm not a young man anymore and my pain takes a different toll on my body. I would like to know what might be a good option for transitioning from a very strong subungual medication with a 24 hour half life to Concentrates, due to the efficiency of medication uptake. I have upper respiratory issues that make smoking Bud not an ideal but ok option, edibles are not a good choice because of my GI track and medication uptake. I would appreciate any simple dosing ideas to eliminate crashing out or withdrawal that goes along with this type of medication transition.

I believe what you’re looking for, maybe called tincture witch is drinkable.

I am no tincture expert one iota I don’t think all of them are made with alcohol which probably isn’t suitable however I do think not all are.

I wanted to avoid any medication taken orally, the GI tract breaks down the medication whereas respiratory is one of the single best ways to take in medication, not great if you have respiratory problems that's why I decided to go the route of concentrates vaporized and cooled by water instead of flower just stronger dose, I take a med that's subungle, I don't know if I could make it into a tab or something that didn't taste horrible as it breaks down under the tongue that might be an option as well.

In a tincture the amount of alcohol is very low per dose.
I have made a simple green dragon many times. My dose was between 20-40 ml depending on the cannabis used and the efficiency of my tincture.
It is less than what you would get from using most mouthwash products.
I would put 10ml at a time to eliminate the need to swallow the tincture, under the tongue.

I wash the everclear out with distilled water. It gets rid of the alcohol taste/burn.
The full flavor can be a bit strong so I've been putting it into chocolate so my C people can let it dissolve in their mouths.
I take straight oil onto my tongue every morning.

Made this last night. 15ml feco.

I'll wash the alcohol out today before burning off any remaining water

Vape, have been for a decade + now; it zeros my pain out. Micro dosing is easily possible to achieve the ideal dose also makes your meds last longer. I medicate and grow 1:1 or Cbd only strains.

I just read an article talking about vaccine and drug delivery via dental floss. I want to try soaking a couple in tincture and trying it, but I'm not sure what carrier to use or how it would affect gum tissue.

We use the cold wash method for making our tincture. The alcohol we use is Everclear 190. 8 grams of ground and decarboxylated bud infused with 6 ounces of Everclear reduces to about 2 ounces of tincture. A dose is between 1/4 to 1/2 ml. We get more than 60 doses per batch, depending on the quality of the bud and the tolerance of the individual.
