I am quite new in this, second grow, first was 12 years ago :)
So i got this beauty (the big one) , its 6weeks in veg and now 4days in flower, and I'm still not sure about sex.

Hope you guys could help a newbie.

Maybe a bit early to tell 100% but it’s female from what I can tell

and this one is a new top, few days old, same plant and scares a sh*t out of me :sweating: hope i am just seeing things and need to wait to see those hairs, maybe just bad angle,.. but looks like a damn ball to me :/

If the strain is a winner maybe save the plant elsewhere and harvest the pollen and take a clone off any female and bred it for seeds.
But it’s popping balls and I’d get it out of there
Then wash the area well, water sterilizes pollen.

So, two plants for 7 weeks , both males... What a "lucky" man I am :)
One was going so well with training and growing , like ~30 strong colas-to-be and near 1 sq/meter (~9sq/foot) dense even canopy.
Eeech, sh*t happens :smoking:

I guess Its time to start all over, not risking this time and buying fem-autos online... Those boys were bag seeds, as it was one of best weed i smoked (with 3 seeds in it).. so wanted to try to grow.. In my country i do not have ability to buy anything but "some weed", no strains , often no quality ... still middle ages :shockedninja: in some places.

Thank you for you input Jack. I think it might be a winner, because growing and training response was amazing, but i am not really at breeding stage i think.
Just dipping my toes in to this now, First would love to grow something combustible :)

Mostly because of short time, i read some autos need only two months from start to finish and yealds impresive on youtube..

Personally, I have only grown a jack herer autoflower in the past. I had a problem with it "the problem was me no doubt" as it stayed about three inches tall for so long that all of the other plants grew up around it but it finally took off and produced some pretty good smoke.
I have an auto strawberry cheese that I plan on throwing in the tent at some point with some regular beans because it sounds tasty.
Are you growing them inside or outside?

I have seen some pretty huge auto colas on some video's for sure!

I grow inside, well, i will grow inside. Since my first attemt after 12years break turnd out into 2 males as you know :)
Did some reading and i think great yeald/quality/short time should be: blue dream, gsc, sour diesel or exper gorilla, i am talking about fem-autos here... But in general i am lost, since nowadays there are hundreds of good srains,

I think many are just a result of inertia, when market/hype grows its sements.. Weed or e-cars. , the same formula
