Mammoth Lighting Mint White Series: 8 Bar, 880W

Mammoth Lighting has this new light using the Samsung LM301H EVO "mint white" chips with over 2600 micro mols. I am thinking about grabbing a couple. Anybody have experience with Mammoth?

My limited knowledge of Mammoth is they have a good reputation. Price isn’t bad at approximately $1/watt.

It looks like an extremely good light, but I am surprised the efficacy rating is 2.87-2.75. I would have thought they would break 3.0 efficacy, other manufacturers are. Efficacy isn’t the have all end all metric though.

That sphere test you linked is for the "Fold-8" light from them, not the new "Mint White" light I am referring to. I ended up going with the 6 bar instead of the 8.

I just popped some beans a few weeks ago and the plants are really digging the spectrum! Nice tight internodal spacing on all 3 strains I'm running. I've got two of the 6-bar in a 4x8 and it's more than enough light. I'm glad I grabbed that Apogee from you. That thing has been invaluable! So far I am extremely pleased with these lights.

Patiently waiting on my Mammoth light to show up. Also got the 6 light one. Read reviews for a month and a half before I decided on that one.
