I agree with propagating your own mixture hands down, but I think there's one thing to consider about microbe populations. I've read that the effectiveness of microbial mixes is partly in the CFU ratios. My question is this; if I were to culture my own microbes from a batch of Mammoth-P, what would happen to those populations? I imagine one of the species would dominate and the solution might not be as effective over a long period of continued culturing. You might have to culture a new batch each grow. Do they list the species variety on the label? It would be fun to figure out the ratios and grow them individually and then add them back together, but by that point you've some how found out Mammoth-Proprietary info.

Psudomonas are widely and aboundantly found in Earth Worm Castings.......
An inexpensive Areated Compost Tea will guarantee to replenish the population in your growing media togheter with many more beneficials strains...for real....no marketing.

I’m no tourist to the industry…There are plenty of snake oils out there no doubt..Mammoth P though isn’t snake oil, I’ve been growing since the mid 90’s and I am still learning, trying to improve and will be for the rest of my life. It’s a passion. Some people are in it for the money and throw cheap toxic chemicals at their plants. And then there’s some that spare no expense, if it benefits the end result.. connoisseur quality…When you have optimized everything and have a high performance environment, don’t change a thing but add in mammoth p the results speak for themselves.. and I like to think I’m a pretty tough judge on products. Much respect to mammoth p.. great product. And it’s not really that expensive to use (at least how I use it), I use it after the stretch and the rest of the way through..

Yes, once I got into natural farming, I found that I could harvest and make bacteria, things like mammoth p, and recharge are not necessary anymore.

Long as you feel it fits your application, by all means do you. Doesn't work for how we use it at our warehouse. Pricing for one is not logical, and two there was no difference, for us! We started adding all these other product in and right away started to have issues.

And we have tried many and many of other additives if our warehouse grows. Name is and we probbaly have tested it. So far just sticking to the basic has worked the best over all and have a tight environment.

Exactly, i was growing mushrooms for a living and i can tell you that ALL the contaminant that i was fighting, are ALL the bennies that they sold for top dollars.
Most of em are in the air, in the soil, in the rivers or lakes....
You wont believe how common is Trichoderma in the air, its a real bitch to keep out of your substrates....like also bacillus subtilis, megaterium etc.... yeasts.....pseuodomonas are everywhere on plants , in the soil....like actinomices too...
Worm casting, but also other composts are the best and fresher way to keep your media thriving of life....

if we are talking about some lab selectedbacillus strains like The amyloliquefaciens (dont remember the code) i can understand the need of buyin. aproduct , but hey, you can tell its targeted for real farmers by the price....
Mammot p seems targeted to cannabis growers = scam
I understand that The Wolf got good results, and its not to be a cheap ass but hey, you probably could have gotten that boost (done by Phosphorus solubilizing bacterias prolly) just with an inexpensive ACT (microbeorganics.org) or some other pseudomonas inoculum sold for big acres farmers....
Or check what Tim Wilson researched and shared, he knows how to harvest Purple non sulphuric bacteria from LAB if i remember correctly...

But then you get soil dust that sticks to the buds and pests are more prevalent..hydroponics is so much cleaner of a product, no dirt to cling to buds or a pest problem. Not to mention you have far greater controls over your parameters to dial in your nutrient regiment.

I have a couple of the little bottles that say they treat 200 gallons

My reservoir is around 50 gallons, so I was just going to split up 1 bottle 4 ways for the last month.

But could I double up on Mammoth P and use two of the 200 gallon bottles for 50 gallons a week for the next month?

I have enough bottles, so I'm not worried about trying to stretch anything, I'd rather slam it hard lol

Are there any negative effects by doubling the dose?

Would I see an increase in production if I do double it up?

I just started using this about 6 months ago. Its easy to call something snake oil when its crazy expensive and you want to justify not paying that price, but I have used this stuff on my last 2 grows and had frost like Christmas. You use .6 ml per gallon and I grow 4 plants at a time so that 500ml bottle has barely been used and I have enough for at least 12 more grows. Gave my friend some of it and he is currently using it on his Zkittles autos and at 4 weeks they are visibly larger than the last batch he grew of the same strain.

From what I've heard most people use 1ml per gallon but that is the most I've heard of people using per application. I really don't think it would hurt anything doubling up since it has no nutrients in it just microbes

It won't last you twelve grows unless they're concurrent. Unfortunately Mammoth P only has a shelf life of 12-18 months past the printed date. Good stuff though.

Ah yeah I forgot about the shelf life. Stuff is great though and it took me a long time to pull the trigger on spending the money on the stuff.

Nice I'm going to go hard and double up then! lol

I'm not worried about the cost, just the absolute best and heaviest results in the end.

I know MP is a phosphorus boosting microbe and really designed for use in flower, but they also suggest using it in veg.

Is this actually beneficial at all during veg, or are they just trying to push more of their product? lol

Has anyone seen better results using it in veg?

I already use Great White from beginning to end, so I already have good microbes during veg.

I mean they openly state MP is a phosphorus boosting microbe for flower, so I really don't see what benefit it would bring during veg. Especially for how pricey the product actually is.

I have 4 in my tent. I started using it a few weeks before flowering on 3 of them and on the last one I used mammoth from the start and it looked the healthiest out of the 4 and had no deficiencies. The leaves were a lot greener so I dont think it makes the plants bigger in veg but I think it does something beneficial with the root zone

From my understanding, if using mammoth p, also buy recharge, fish shit, and any other innoculant. Diversity is key. Each product has different microbes. And you want as many as possible. And if you wanna go crazy, go outside and get imo's. The diversity is in the thousands, compared to bottles which has hundreds.

I use it along with Recharge. From what I understand the recharge provides fuel to the microbes in the mammoth p
